I mean Spurs had Gasol and Albridge and they made it work defensively. So I'm optimistic about JV

Spurs had the 3rd best defense in the NBA last year with a starting front court of: Gasol, Aldridge and Kyle Anderson (who is slow as molasses). That's like the anti-modern, mobile, switching NBA lineup. Pretty crazy, considering they didn't have Kawhi almost all last year and they played the Rockets and Warriors 4 times each.

In 2 conditions.

One, I don't play video games, so you have to pay for the console. I'm not buying a PS4 man, that shit is expensive.

Maybe it's a new era for MVP, but I'd really prefer if they stuck with the tradition of at least leaning towards the best player on the best team.

I.e. Westbrook winning was (hopefully) an anomaly.

I've always felt that should be the case UNLESS a player on at least decent playoff team has an off the charts season like Russ 2 years ago averaging triple double (or Wilt averaging 50...)
