If this 10-day turns into a minimum signing, I'd bet the Raps sign him for an extra year beyond this one, so they can get some cheap depth for next year when they are cash-strapped. Let's see how the audition goes.

Miller is already signed to a 2-way deal. So if they want him available for the playoffs, they'd have to sign him to a new deal. Unfortunately, they currently have only one open roster spot, so for this playoffs it's one or the other (unless they waive someone).

As for this summer, Miller will be a free agent as it stands.

The signing also signals that OG might be out for weeks and not day-day which means whatever Norm/Malcolm provided at the 3 is not adequate enough. Shows the Raps importance in really trying to hold onto the number 1 seed and not have unfortunate hiccups as a result.
