We currently have more wins than Golden State. They’ll probably tie us in another hour but that’s still pretty cool.
This is a big deal actually. Reality is, Golden State is still a huge threat to go to the finals, if toronto does the impossible and makes it there too, home court would be massive.

Remember when people said we should have signed Biz to that monstrous contract. Thank god we didn't.
Couldn’t have been many, it was virtually impossible to offer him anything close to that contract.

Biz had AWESOME timing to have a strong performance in the playoffs in a year when the salaries were ridiculously large. He is now set for life even though his next contract will be a fraction of his current one with the Magic.

        • Always feels a little..odd to check out the opposing team's forum and their just as happy with the loss as the Raptors fans are with the win.

(Of course this is a result of Atlanta winning today , which means Orlando has a chance of tying Atlanta for third worst record)

          • I mean, it's just odd to read a comment like 'Raptors are resting DeRozan and Valanciunas.. and now looks like Powell might be hurt? Crap, we might win'

I recall reading comments like that on Raptors forums... fortunately it was years ago.

              • Any updates?

"Powell left the game less than two minutes in with a sprained ankle, then returned in the second quarter. Nogueira left with hamstring tightness midway through the first quarter, didn’t return, and is scheduled to get an MRI.

Fred VanVleet played nine minutes before leaving the game with back tightness, leaving Toronto with eight players."

After the game Casey said FVV was fine and would have played if the game meant anything, they were just being cautious. Powell obviously seemed fine. No update on Nogueira yet besides that note that he is going to get an MRI. First update will probably be at shootaround, assuming they have one after traveling last night.

Thanks. Yes, Nogueira was the real question. Hopefully only needs a day or two off.
