    Wall's contract.

    2018-19: $19,169,800 (28 years)
    2019-20: $37,800,000
    2020-21: $40,824,000
    2021-22: $43,848,000
    2022-23: $46,872,000 (32 years)

That's a lot. And he seems to be a lockerroom cancer.
46 million dollars .... Holly crap ... It will seem like an attractive offer in two years for the Wizards ... Two years will owe zero ( getting Lowry ) instead of 43 and 46 ..

He has no fear, but his contract is a mess.

Wall's a really good player, I don't think I'm interested in locking into salary that high for that long for someone who's still not a top 10 guy.

I will echo the above. Lowry is not our problem.

I really like Wall’s game. If he was on our team he would be far more successful because he wouldn’t have to play 40+ minutes for his team to win. His biggest problem this year in the playoffs was the fatigue he suffered from at the end of games. If you ask me, he’s got the ability to be a top 10 guy if in the right position. What Dan said is very interesting, because a backcourt of Wall and Lowry would be really good. I just don’t see why the wiz would want Derozan and Beal and no point guard.

Are you asking if I were the Wizards whether I'd trade Wall for Lowry? Yes, 100% absolutely. That team is locked into contracts and going nowhere, that gives you an excellent player that you can be "everybody eats" Wizards with and improve some of the locker room situation. It's at least something to try for a team going nowhere, and if it doesn't work then Lowry's contract becomes an expiring next year.

If I were the Raptors? No, that Supermax is scary and really only worth it for a top 5-8 player in the league. Wall ain't it. I would expect the team to be worse with Wall than Lowry simply because of how rough a fit that is.
That is a normal collar. Move on, find a new slant.

Come to think of it, a system that favours 3pt shots may not be the best fit for Wall (a career 32.7% shooter from deep).
I think if you trade Lowry for Wall, you have to trade DeMar as well. Wall isn't a great shooter himself, but he can breakdown the defence way better than DeMar, and he can find open players.

100% without question. This team needs better high end talent and Wall is better than both Lowry and DD. I'd aquire wall than figure out what to do with DD since they cannot co-exist.

Yes I would without thinking twice, we get a player who's a level better and a few years younger. As long as we have shooters beside derozan and wall it should be okay. Also, Wall running the bench unit will be a thing of beauty. If we want to trade the house maybe do something like

                    Lowry and Powell for Wall
                    Then
                    DeRozan for wiggins
                    Lastly,
                    Ibaka for bad expiring contract

                    Wall - Wiggins - OGA - Sikam - JV

If we want to go after PG, don't trade Derozan (he's a Toronto legend)

                    Wall - Derozan - George - OGA - JV

That will be the best line up in Raptors history

You will have to play a 4-man-lineup with Wall, Derozan & PG in your team :-)

Trading JV would be sad but hey its for Kawhi, I’m all for it.

I don't want Pau at all.

How about Demar + Poeltl just for Kawhi? That could probably work.

The DeRozan for Kawhi problem is DD makes $9m/yr more (!). Very limited options to cover that spread from the SAS end. Pau or Patty Mills or ... ?
