Here's another thing with the Lakers. LeBron prbably has 1? maybe 2 more good years left? you can't really build a team around AD because he's always injured. They don't have any good young players. And lastly, they don't have a 1st round pick until 2027. In short, they're fucked.Mamba Mentality

I posted this in the other thread:
The lakers could have had Ty Lue who coached Lebron and they short changed him on the offer, hence he went to the Clippers. Lakers get media hype because they are in LA that is it that is all. They aren't taking Nurse. Also this is a much better basketball situation. I will say it right now. The lakers will not win another title for at least 5 years. They won't even be in the conversation. They have no picks, no assets, bloated salaries. If they want to make a move it would involve seriously considering trading lebron, which they won't do, or AD, which is not a bad idea but they missed their window to maximize his value. They are stuck. There are rumors of Charlotte grabbing westbrook but that makes zero sense because other than off loading hayward... which OK sure that doesn't solve their center issues and Westbrook doesn't really help them. John Wall is probably the only reasonable move they have to make and even that will potentially require them attaching assets because no one wants to help them.

You think? I mean he's not the player he once was and is a can basically retire whenever he wants to pursue other ventures. Does he still have that much pull with the NBA when they know there are other, much younger stars they can build their brand around?
He's bad for basketball, this is worse than owning a piece of a team like MJ, worse than Scott Boras determining who goes where.

Unfortunately, the league knows he will continue to meddle and collude and tamper through Clutch Sports for years.
