  • Man, if you're a Nuggets fan then you have to be reeling after that loss... With a minute left in each of the overtimes, they had an opportunity to build a two-possession lead only to turn it over again and again. Then, in each overtime (except number 4) they had the chance to ice it with the game tied, and each time they brought the ball back five feet from the three-point line for a contested circus shot. If they would have just found a way to get that ball inside on any of the three opportunities then the game would have been theirs. That was a fun game to watch for everyone except Nuggets fans.

Bucks take all that "Celtics to the finals" crap and flush it. Such good basketball.
Celtics don't have a true Batman. Kyrie is a rich man's Robin. Only Bucks, Raps and 6ers have a legit alpha.

      • Both coaches last night showed that they deserve to be COY.

both of them called very timely timeouts after the opposing team making a short run.

Amazing play calling and and how about Terry Stoss having the balls to call on Rodney Hood at a very critical juncture of the 3rd and 4th OT.

I wish the Raptors coach can do the same by calling on playoff Norm and fucking stop this Van Vleet love fest.

that out of bounds play they overturned hurts.. same they thing that cost Texas Tech the national championship. when you slow a play down frame by frame like that it almost always is off the finger tips of the guys dribbling the ball. any other time in a game thats clearly out on the defender. I think we're going to see more calls over turned like that happen and start to get blow back against calls like that.

Yeah, it's a very interesting topic with these kind of situations that I think the league should adress sooner rather than later and make a very specific rule that would be clear. They have to adapt to these slo-mo reviews.

To me it is unfair to call it a turnover. In this type of situation it is almost always going to be the case that the offensive player is last to touch it.
It's another matter if the strip happens, the offensive player gets a chance to react and regain control of the ball but fumbles it and it goes out of bounds. It's also different when the strip happens and say the ball hits another body part of the offensive player or even a teammates foot.
I think the simple rule should be that it's only a turnover if the offensive player willingly or unwillingly touches the ball AFTER an interruption of touch by the defensive player who gave the ball the momentum to go out of bounds.

            Which means in examples :
            1) Defensive player strips ball, both players touch ball at the same time but it rolls off of either player last with the momentum of the strip - not a turnover. (Last night's game).
            2) Defensive player strips ball, either both touch or only defensive player touches ball, followed by interruption of touch of the ball by both players, followed by renewed contact willingly or unwillingly by the offensive player with the ball that goes out of bounds - turnover. (Say after strip the ball hits the the other hand or the foot of the offensive player that got stripped before going out of bounds).

So frustrating tho watching all these other teams shoot the lights out and we're still slumping for 3 straight games

hopefully raptors figure out their shooting woes by Tuesday
