Hey guys and gals,

We're running a, how should I say, pilot or beta version of our new Raptors Republic app. We haven't made it official as we're still trying to work out some bugs while improving the user interface. So, its not the final version so expect to see more changes over the next while.

Anyhow, please feel free to download. Available on both Android & iPhone. It's absolutely free.

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...rsrepublic.app

iOS: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/the-...6946?ls=1&mt=8

If we could ask a favour though. We're welcoming feedback and suggestions on perhaps things you'd like to see. At the end of the day we're doing this for you guys by making everything here easier available for you the user. Please send your feedback (Regardless if its positive or negative) to raptorsrepublic@gmail.com.

Thanks in advance and we hope you guys enjoy the application.

If Brown, Hayward and Tatum are all starting then one of them would have to be at SG, which gives them the edge over Delon, Norm/Danny Green. Advantage Boston
Why can't we play Siakam, Kawhi, OG in that case?
    All man. All amazing.

Having Kawhi instantly allows us to say "checkmate" on any matchup problem posed from any team not named golden state. Its amazing
It's Klaw Season. Time to hunt.

In the beginning would you put Kawhi on Tatum or Hayward? Obviously if one of them is having a good game I would adjust but from the start I think I'm putting Kawhi on Tatum.

Its a grouping... arbitrary on my part ... but with tons of talent on both sides on the wings you can mix and match.

If Kawhi stays, those 3 playing together could be our long term advantage. The identity of the team would be built around defense, I.e. the Warrior stoppers.

You add in Kyle and Green and you’ve got an insane 3+D switch everything lineup, albeit soft on the boards.

Probably Kawhi on Hayward to start, OG on Tatum. But yeah, loads of flexibility.

You can put Leonard on whoever is the hottest.. and follow that up with Annunoby.... The options that Leonard gives Nurse or whomever has the reigns on defense is going to be awesome. These games between Raps n Chowdas are going to be very very very good....

I was responding to the specific match-up posed by Demo. In that match-up he has given the Rap's the advantage at SG, but doesn't have either one of Brown, Hayward or Tatum at that spot even though he has all 3 in their starting line-up.

I realize, just saying that specific match up was a bit off due to who you've slotted as starter/bench. Agree there is a lot of versatility on both teams.

I want to say BOS vs. TOR will come down to who plays the best defence, but that game last season where we blew them out of the water shooting 3's comes to mind.

I would say, in the beginning you want the bigger OG on Tatum. See how OG does and then adjust from there. Heck, if Tatum is starting at PF, I would even give Siakam a shot to start and if Tatum is going off then I go to OG and Kawhi if that doesn't work. Crazy how many options they have.

Raptors vs Hinkies Head to Head

At the 5. King of Twitter and Amir vs JV / Monroe / Ibaka/ Pascal. Lots of love in the MSM for Joel. The reality is that KofT is a part time, injury prone, poor cardio, low BBIQ, Rhianna obsessed man child. Joel got exposed bad in the PO by the Chowdas for his lack of conditioning and they ran him off the floor. For all the hype Joel is just a 30% 3pt shooter and was 27% in the PO. One of the most loved Raps, Amir is more rep than substance in year 14. He can play spot minutes. JV can handle Embiid down low but if Joel wants to take 3’s I think Nurse and Co let him bomb away and let JV clean the glass. They are both good FT shooters but the favourable whistle will go to Embiid. Monroe can chase and stay with Limping Buffalo Embiid on the perimeter for his spot minutes and . Ibalka and Pascal will contain Amir with little trouble. This is a wash to a slight nod to the Raps.

At the 4. Siakam/Ibalka/OG vs Saric and Mikey Muscala. Saric is really good. Muscala isn’t. Going to give the edge here to the Raps as they just have more guys to throw at Saric and the Hinkies don’t have the ammo to throw at the Raps when Saric sits.

At the 3. Kawhai/OG/CJ vs Covington/Chandler and Someones son. Its a repetitive theme but damn does Leonard tip the scales in the Raps favour against every team in the East. No difference here with the Hinkies. Edge to Raps. Big Edge.

                          At the 2.
Delon/Norm/Danny Green vs JJ Reddick / TJ McConnell and yet another injured rookie Zhaire Smith. Green should limit one of the better 3 point specialists in the association the very professional JJ. Reddick. McConnell is a sparkplug but either of Norm or Delon will be able to guard him easily with their advantage in strength and length respectively. Zhaire Smith is a rookie and he got hurt. Nuff said. Edge to the Raps.

Point Guard,.Kyle and Freddy vs Ben Simmons and Markele Fultz. Simmons is a load at PG. He can’t shoot outside of 8 feet worth shit but he can penetrate and will have a post up advantage if the Raps go man to man. Fultz is a big PG and he too can drive the lane but with no jimmy and under 6’10” he is going to struggle till he finds a jumper. The Raps may put Wright on Fultz which will give Fultz fits. Maybe the Raps go zone and force Simmons to show off that non existant jumper. Kyle will school Fultz inside and can make Simmons hurt by hitting 3’s. Freddy will hold his own against the Hinkies red shirt rookie Fultz but has no chance with Simmons. Edge… Hinkies.

Bench. Edge to the Raps. First 6 off the bench in the Vault (ScotiaBank Centre) and in no particular order. Freddy / Delon / Pascal / OG / CJ and Norm. First 6 up for the Hinkies will be Amir / Chandler / Fultz / McConnell / Muscala and Jerryd Bayless. Yeah that Jerryd Bayless.

Pretty sure Kawhi will be guarding Simmons and Lowry will be guarding Redick or Covington.

Kawhi is light years better than any individual on that squad. We have a superstar now.

Yeah the narrative changed. That was when we were trying to squint and find a championship possibility without a top 5 or even top 10 player. Now we're at the big boy table, for one year at least
