  • In the prayer vigil that is the Pacers for third....

The Hinkies took out Sacto at home Friday while in the catch up game on Saturday the Pacers lost one at the buzzer to the Nuggets on the road....Today the Hinkies travel to Milwaukee to try and win at least one against one of the big 4 in the East...
Should be a good one... Cheering on the Bucks...
Next up for the Pacers who are road warriors for a while longer are the Trailblazers. Portland is now firmly in a slug fest for 4th and homecourt with 3 other teams.
The Chowders get Denver at home and the Hinkies on the road this week....
Light a candle at St. Mikes for the Pacers this week ... they can use all the help they can get to finish in the 3 hole and give Raps fans a gift of a Hinkie vs Chowder first round series...

In the turtle derby for 6 though 8 ...

The Pistons get what should be a full Raps squad today... save for FVV who is apparently inching closer to a return...With the Raps you just never know when their guys come off the IR. The Raps aren't going to let Casey sweep them and should take this one today. When the Raps leave Motown with a win it will put the Pistions in a tie with the Nets for 6th and up by 2 games on the 8th place Heat.

The Heat get Charlotte who needs the win even more than the Heat do...

The Nets who continue to face the best the league has to offer to the end of the season on a night in and night out basis draw the Clips tonight in LA. This is truly the journey of a thousand miles. .

And the Magic .. who are clearly hoping for some... get the Hawks at home.

    The fearless calls...

    Pistons - L
    Heat - W
    Nets - L
    Magic W

Its one tight race ... these teams are already in playoff mode. .

    • interesting note the spurs are on a 8 game winning streak and climbing the west standings. this hot streak and coincedided with poetle being inserted into the starting lineup. if spurs can climb into the 4 or 5 spot it could shake things up quite a bit and leave some dangerous teams like Utah Portland OR OKC to face one of the better west teams in the 1st round

wow... is it a dogfight or what out west eh ?

and on a personal note... your nets have to go through pretty much all of those teams ....

36 wins right now. I'd say 39 might get them in 40 almost guarantees it. they have 11 game left so a 4 and 7 record would clinch a spot. I think their chance are pretty good. at this point one of the magic or heat would need to go on a crazy run only losing a couple games from here on out. interesting enough Miami vs nets is the last game on the schedule. could end up being a play in game if the chips fall correctly

                • Although the west top 8 are settled their is going to be some interesting seeding juggling coming down the stretch. S.A is hot and can taste homecourt in the first round. With the injury to mccollum portland may drop down to 6 or lower. Denver only sits 1 game back of GSW for first, and last year the warriors didnt close out the season very well. My ideal seeding for optimum entertainment would be.
                  1. Denver
                  2.GSW

                    • Boston hosts Denver tonight and Indy visits Portland as the Pray for Indy to finish 3rd march goes on.

Indy gets a break as CJ McCollum nicked up his knee and won't play tonight. Indy needs this one bad. They lost one at the buzzer in Denver. Hope the Pacers have short memories. Portland is just hanging on to 4th and home court by a half game. Should be a good one in RIP City.
                      .
As BertaRapsfan points out the West is wild. A couple of losses in a week could move you from 4th to 7th....Denver opens their eastern road trip against the Chowders who need the win as well but have been incredibly inconsistent the whole year. Don't think Hayward or Horford suit up tonight for the Leprashits. Leaning to Denver but especially if Horford sits.

                      In the Turtle Derby

Miami travels to OKC who is smarting after getting their asses handed to them by GSW. Nothing like Russ with attitude. Wonder if he takes 30 shots tonight.
The Raptor killing Pistons head to Cleveland to play the Raptor killing Cavs....The Pistons should win even though they are less than 400 on the road.

Ya okc-Utah was may favorite series last year. I like my standings cause it forces GSW to play utah, hou/okc and denver. The hardest road to the finals for them imo

SAS actually tied with Raptors for 2nd best home record in the league. Would be a big boost for them to crack the top 4, but...not sure I'd bet on a DeRozan/LMA pairing in the playoffs. We'll see what Pop can solve for them.

DeRozan and LMA are such a throwback pair I feel like theyd be a sick duo for nba jams

Something about ISO'ing for low efficiency two point jump shots as a non-elite player, it works in the regular season when teams are cruising but not in the playoffs when teams clamp down.

Hey this is fun, career regular season TS% vs playoffs TS%:

                              DeMar = .536 > .497
                              Kawhi = .599 > .617

                              Yay!

                              • The Milwaukee Bucks signed guard Tim Frazier on Tuesday as they try to shore up their backcourt with Malcolm Brogdon out indefinitely with a plantar fascia tear in his right foot.

The 28-year-old Frazier played 47 games this season for the New Orleans Pelicans and averaged 5.0 points, 4.4 assists and 2.9 rebounds in 19.3 minutes per game. He was waived Feb. 28.
