Yeah, they were on a back to back in Utah who had a day of rest. Bucks led by 17 with 9 1/2 minutes left, then Utah went on a 17-2 run.
Are their fans jumping off ledges, yelling at their PG and firing the coach like ours do?

    • Orlando with another win against a decent team in Indiana. Now sitting in 8th.. 1.5 games back from 7th/6th. Orlando is 8-2 in their last 10. Probably the hottest team in the NBA as they've beaten us, Milwaukee, GSW and Indiana in that last 10.

They'll be a tough out in the playoffs.

      • Well the Lebrons shit the bed in Phoenix last night. Yep those 13 and 51 Phoenix Suns.
That puts them 4 games behind the Clips and SAS in the loss column with 19 games to play.

Exacerbating that is the Lakers have the 8th hardest remaining schedule according to tankathon.com where the Spurs and Clips have the 21st and 23rd toughest schedules.

If the Spurs and Clips go just 10 and 8 in their remaining games... The Lebrons west will have to put up a 15 and 4 run to just tie. The Spurs hold the tiebreaker with the Lakers. The Lakers are currently tied in head to head games with the Clips with 2 more games to go.

That faint sound you hear in the background is a lone bugler get ready to play taps for the Lakers chances at the post season.

This week the Lebrons West get the Clips, Denver and Boston.
        Ouch.

        • This Week in PACERS FOR 3RD WATCH

Well last week the pacers sucked canal water and went 1 and 3... not good.. but still there they are hanging on to 3rd tied in the loss column with the Hinkies and 2 up on the Chowders.

This week in Pacers watch .. Indy gets the Bulls at home to get healthy then hit the road for 2 against the Bucks and Philly. 1 win and 2 L's is the most likely outcome but 2 and 1 is possible. That game in Philly will be a big one for them.

The Hinkies are expecting to become Embiid-ed as the King of Social Media makes his return sometime this week according to Embiid himself. Their schedule has them playing 4 games.. two at home and two on the road. At home they draw the suddenly hot Magic and the Pacers in a head to head clash... on the road they have the Bulls and Houston. 2 and 2 is a pretty safe bet.

The Chowders get Houston at home today and then hit the road for three games out west where they face the Warriors , the Kings and the reeling Lakers... 2 and 2 would be a fair prediction but 1 and 3 is just as likely as well.

The dream of the Pacers in third is alive for another week. Looking forward the last two weeks of March look really really tough for the Pacers.. .during that stretch they play 9 games. In order they Pacers get OKC Denver Portland the Clips, Warriors and the Blazers again, OKC , Boston and to end the stretch from hell they play Orlando. If they can stay 5 and 4 or 4 and 5 it will be an achievement ....

          • WIth a 128 to 107 pounding of the New York Knicks... the LA Clippers add another nail to the coffin of the LA Lakers 2018-19 season....Someones got some 'splainin to do once the season is over ....

My guess is the first thing they do is fire Luke Walton... like that was the problem....

If we lose to either of those teams in a 7 game series than we deserve nothing.

Neither team should take more than a game off us. Don't let regular season games mislead you - the talent differential is way too much.

And so it begins...The introspective studies on the so far epic fail of the Boston Celtics. There are several ephemeral tangents touched on by Bontemps save for one. Occam's Razor theory..that the simplist explanation is most likely the correct answer to the problem. Occams Razor would say that these guys are not nearly as talented as they were hyped to be. The Bill Parcells line just might apply here. “your as good as your record says you are”.

And the Chowderheads record with 75% of the season in the books is not as good as the afterthought IndianaPacers record. It says they are a playoff team but not much more.

Can there be an epiphany in Boston ? It’s sports and anything’s possible. However the smart money is likely staying away from the Celtics as a lost season grinds to what seems to be an inevitable close for them.

                        Here's my diagnosis:

                        1. Gordon Hayward isn't Gordon Hayward anymore.
                        2. They aren't big enough and tough enough in the paint.
                        3. They have too many players with their own agendas other than helping the team win.
                        4. Irving has one foot out the door and everyone else knows it.
                        5. They have a systems coach whose players aren't interested in playing the system anymore cause it doesn't help their own agendas (see #2 above).
                        6. Players aren't invested because they are always on the trade block (see #2 and #5).
                        7. Boston has failed to realize the potential of its young stars (Brown and Tatum).

Meh, not concerned about either of those teams. Would be shocked if it does past 5 games.

Hey Demo remember how all last season a few of us kept saying "Boston sucks!" and they couldn't keep pulling last second wins out of their asses forever?

Well we were wrong in that they did keep it up for one full season, but half a year later it sure looks like karma's a bitch.

                              Brad Stevens = Overrated
                              Boston = SUCKS
