I really hope the "we're saving it" vibe we're getting from Nurse + Kawhi actually proves to be true. Also hope the team's top 8 is actually healthy all at the same time for the playoffs, they essentially haven't been healthy at the same time at all this year for any significant period of time.

Yeah, 6 in a row beating Bucks in Milwaukee and Celtics at home. Embiid is a tough cover. Last game he had 21 FT's...more than Celtics combined. They play a consistent roster and rotation getting lots of clutch time practise...we can only hypothesize...

They just lost to the tanking Hawks with all their starters putting over 30 minutes. They can be dangerous but they're also very inconsistent and a bit overrated.

Looking pretty much locked now in the East for 1 2 3 spots. Bucks Raps Philly are going to be the order of finish..
Indy and Boston are scrapping for gets home court in the 4 and 5 slots. They play each other twice in their last 9 games. A sweep by either would pretty much settle the issue as the tie breaker would go the "sweeper".A split favours Boston as they have the easier schedule.
Detroit took one in the chops last night. Tonight they get GSW and then Denver at altitude. OKC a home and home with Indy and the desperate Magic lay ahead. Detroit is coming back to the field.
Its a big week for the Magic. They get Philly at home and then the Heat on a back to back on the road. If they get an Embiidless Philly and can take advantage the game with the Heat will be for a playoff spot. Thats the easy part. The Magic hit the road for 3 against Detroit , Indy and the Raps.
Miami won one they had to last night and next up is Orlando at home followed by winnable games at home against Dallas and then on the road against the somewhere below putrid Knicks. Miami has the opportunity to move up the turtle derby ladder by winning out. If Detroit stumbles (GSW / Denver / Orlando and Portland) the Heat might stand in 6th by the end of the week.
The Nets continue their long march on the road with Portland and Philly on deck and as a reward they get Boston at home to close out this week. Next week doesn't get any better with the Bucks and Raps making a house calls before they pack their bags and hit the road to play the Bucks again.
The race for 6 through 8 will be decided by whoever loses the least. And the Raps will get one of these stumblebums.
Yeah Baby.Last edited by Demographic Shift; Sun Mar 24, 2019, 11:31 AM.There's no such thing as a 2nd round bust.

You can certainly see where they're vulnerable... no Steph and they go down as much as 40 or thereabouts to the lowly Mavs. But yeah, they've lost plenty of other games recently too where he's played. There's usually somebody out though... They're gonna be praying for health just as much as we will be.Official Pope of the Raptors sponsored by MLSE.

Yeah, last season they were stumbling as well at the end of the season, we all know what happened in the playoffs though.

Yep, when the seeding is pretty much locked, the last 10 games of the season are not representative of a team's state heading into the playoffs. The emphasis becomes injury prevention, rest, management of minutes etc... and cards are kept close to chest when it comes to in-game x's & o's as well.
and the Pacers lay a 40 burger on Denver.... no one.. and I mean no one.. saw that coming....a forty burger !!!
Indy holds serve.... over to the Chowders who take on the Spurs tonight.... on the road ...
did you hear that.. a kind of contracting noise... thats the sound of the Chowders sphincters tightening if they have to take on Indy on the road in round 1...There's no such thing as a 2nd round bust.

TV but if the raps don't rebound and play defence like they did against the Horner's...pistons will destroy us
I have this hunch that once they're pretty much a lock for the playoffs ...they'll strategically try to get 7th to to face the raps cause they know they can beat them
