    - Detroit is not going to lose to the Knicks even without Blake.
    - This is a must win game for the Hornets. They're not losing to the Magic even with a healthy Vucevic.

The game to watch is the Nets/Heat game. Rooting for the Nets to win.
Yeah the teams that will win tonight are the ones still fighting for a playoff spot (Charlotte & Detroit).

The others are already clinched or eliminated, so they'll play relatively soft.

The Nets vs Heat game is the one relevant game because one is clinched one is already out, so in theory it's relatively unimportant for both of them, which makes it hard to predict. It might come down to whether or not the Nets want to avoid us in the 1st round.

Vooch is questionable for Orlando tonight (illness) and Blake is doubtful for the Pistons. Adjust your tealeaves as you will
Be interesting if they lose this one because they are holding out guys..... If they do lose and the Nets win and Detroit wins... The Magic fall to 8th and most of their fan base does not want to see The Alphabet in the first round. They just don't have anyone to match up with him.... maybe gordon.

We get to find out later tonight who gets in and who the Raps draw in round 1.

Agree with the posts above that the Nets Heat game is the one to watch. Brooklyn gets a choice of who they play at 6 or 7. Lets see who they suit up... how long and how hard they play....

There's no such thing as a 2nd round bust.

I don't think matchups will matter too much in the East. The top three teams are just so much better than everyone else.... except maybe the Celtics. I am quite happy the Bucks have to deal with them....

        • Denver brilliantly lost on purpose to Portland last week setting up the possibility that Houston can finish 4th and face Golden State in the 2nd round. Portland holds the tie breaker over Houston. If Denver and Portland win tonight, Houston drops to 4th and plays Utah then Golden State.

Yeah it doesn't matter who we play in the 1s t round. I just want to play the Pistons though.

                  Big loss.

question: if the top 4 teams win their 1st rd match do we play the sixers or Celtics in 2nd rd?

Sixers.. the NBA doesn't re-seed. The bracket doesn't change round to round.

                    • Yeah Smart is a big loss. Hayward has been playing much better so will probably get the start. Could be a blessing in disguise if he's back to his 2016-2017 form.

I'm jumping all over. starting with Knicks to see if they make piston sweat and get out to a lead. Portland is resting players to stay in 4th seed and face jazz instead of Thunder. spurs have to win to face nuggets. Charlotte won't be important unless Detroit loses. maybe check out Nets to for some playoff scouting
