it's starting to become clear that Embiid and Simmons might not be the best pairing moving forward. Ben played amazing last game without joel. now with them together Embiid clogs up the lane and Ben can't attack the rim which is his best skill. this might not be a viable pairing if Ben doesn't learn how to shoot in the next couple years

If the Nets bounce the 76ers in the first round, that *might* make Philly realize that the core might not work together as planned, and make some changes (detrimental to future Raps teams). If the 76ers get bounced in later rounds, then it's easier to justify keeping a flawed core together.
