also to add klay said after last game. we gotta go out and win big next game whoop em by like 30. why does he think they will blow a team out on their home court with playoff lives in the balance? this team pushed you to 6 and you think your just gonna walk into their home court and blow them out? I really hope they lose tonight they will be sweating going into game 7.
    Because they will.

Durant scored 38 of his playoff career-high 50 points in the first half (second most ever) in a 129-110 win. So 19 not 30 but Durant is on fire.

    • Saw that first half before I went to bed. KD is the only reason why they're moving on. If he leaves in free agency those guys are screwed.

He was hitting some insane shots. And there was nothing anybody could do about it. He's got an unguardable shot. 7ft tall with a 7'5 wingspan and he uses it to shoot over anybody.. Just have to pray that he's having an off shooting night or he's deferring to someone else.

Golden state decided to play defense as well. Lou was like 3-21 or something.

On to the real show though.. Houston vs Golden State. The second round is going to have some great basketball.

You know, writing this after the game while the other poster wrote it before makes it a little too easy for you. Anyone knows Golden State (particularly Durant and Steph) can go off at any given night, but that wasn't a given considering the way the series was going.

It's hard to write what happened in a game until after the game ....

            • So the Warriors get by the Clips in 6. Just thank god the raps didn't do that or they would be slagged mercilessly from a lot of folks... .. but for the Warriors... well .. you know.. they were .. well .. kinda ..well .. they won you know

The point of this rambling post is that the Warriors can be had.... Its a tough road but the Raps have what its going to take to get there....

                    Heres my Round 1 Predictions

                    West
                    GSW-Clips (Warriors in 5)
Pat Bev is going to get under someone skins and one of the warriors will get ejected. Lou will goes off at the same time and clip get a win in staples center.

                    Den-Sa (Spurs in 7)
Spurs have huge advantage in experince on the court and the bench. Pop will expose jokic on defense and rack up the fouls by attacking him with Aldridge. With all the offensive prowess of Murray and Harris they will struggle to contain demar and might have to give more minutes to beasley with will hurt their offense.

                    Port-Okc (OKC in 6)
With nurkic this may go longer. Paul george will get the lillard assignment but he will still have 2 big games and get a couple wins at home.

                    Hou-Utah (Rockets in 6)
Utah defense is top notch, Harden offense is the best in the league. Jazz will play good D on everyone and force Harden to beat them on his own... and he will. Look forward to P.J Tucker vs Joe Ingles the best role players in the NBA head to head. This one will be chippy.

                    East
                    Mil-Det (Mil in 5)
Pretty breezy for the bucks, blake injury changes everything. Bucks still go cold from 3 in a game and allow detroit to get one.

                    Raps-Orl (Raps in 4)

Raps are just better at every position. Pascal may not have the best series but we will be able to out talent them at every position. Only magic get a game is if T-Ross and Vucevic go for 35+ points.

                    Phil-Nets (Philly in 6)

Embiid may be hurt. 6ers playing coy. if embiid misses game 1 nets take it and put pressure right on philly. 6er struggle to contain guards and nets have talents in spades at that position. If embiid injury is worse then they are letting on this could be a march madness style upset.

                    Bos-Indy (Bos in 7)

Marcus Smart is a huge loss and Indy is not going to lay down and take a beating. These are all going to be close games with some buzzer beating finishes. Series of the 1st round. Gordan Hayward is the X-factor if he plays well that could change the series completely.

Lets see those round 1 prediction results. Most peoples are on page 74-75. I dont think i saw anyone who took the blazers. and everyone thought that pacers boston series would go longer.
To be the champs you got to beat the champs

Your successful picks of series winners is 6 / 7 (excl. # of games required) with tonights SPURS - NUGGETS TBD. The higher seeds have all moved on ...so far.

I think the better team all year, Denver, puts it together and puts the Spurs away.
