So the next six games are against ex-RapTerrence Ross in Orlando, ex-Rap Vince Quitter-Carter in Atlanta, the Beal and Wall fiasco, welcoming ex Rap James Johnson and Miami and finally, a bunch of guys you've never heard of playing well in Memphis before finally hosting the big one; GSW in Toronto.
Should be fun .... 4 out of 6?
    6ix outta 6ix in the 6ix

Cavaliers look to part ways with J.R. Smith after trade request.

    SportsNet:
J.R. Smith‘s bumpy-but-never-boring stay with the Cleveland Cavaliers is over.

The team said Tuesday that the disgruntled forward, who had requested to be traded earlier this season, "will no longer be with team as the organization works with JR and his representation regarding his future."

The Cavaliers will try to trade Smith. He will make $14.7 million this season, and $3.8 million of his $15.6 million salary for next season is guaranteed.

For now, the 33-year-old Smith is without a team

    Eric Smith
CJ Miles says he feels "really good".

He's not sure if he will be back tonight or tomorrow; tough to know given the back to back. But he's fine now.

Let's see. Kawhi missed 5 games, vs the Jazz, Lakers, Wiz, Bucks and Bulls. Two LOTTERY teams and two BELOW average teams. Congrats Kyle on leading them to a 4-1 record. Very impactful.

The ONE game where they played a great team was against the Bucks, and i don't think Giannis played in that game and the Raptors still got blown out.
Okay dude, stick with your, "Kyle Lowry is an energy guy," line. I encourage you to announce this as much as possible, you are sure to convince everyone.

It's even worse because it also cost them an extra lotto pick to make sure they got him and not tatum lol

Bryan colangelo already had one of the 5 worst #1 picks of all time. He made sure to outdo himself and get himself in the list twice.

But ujiri still riding his coat tails and hinkie did nothing. Find a new slant.
I miss the tentilizing potential of Rafael Araújo ....

Nearly a month later, the daily medical update from October 22 listed Smith as out because of his foot injury. It made no mention of his esophagus issues. The same was true on October 26. It wasn’t until November 9, a month and a half after first mentioning Smith’s allergic reaction, that a team spokesperson and Brand unexpectedly briefed the media and issued a carefully crafted press release. It explained that Smith had received “additional medical treatment for complications derived from the allergic reaction that initially required a thoracoscopy” and there was “no timetable for his return to play.” The entire statement was 44 words long, and was delivered with Smith’s consent (which was required, given that his condition is not basketball related). On background, team sources told reporters that they were aware of Smith’s peanut allergy and prepared his food individually, but the team and the player were unaware that he also had a sesame allergy, and he may have eaten something from the facility with sesame in it that triggered a reaction. Reporters were also told that Smith would not play in 2018.

Looks like Anthony Bennett now has a legit rival for the worst 1st overall pick in NBA history.

    Of interest around the NBA

JR Smith wanting out of Cleveland. ESPN and CBS are all over that.
Continuing coverage of the husband and wife fight between Green and Durant in the Bay Area.
No reasonable offer refused trade speculation on the spiraling Wizards.

Any coverage on the Boston Celtics being one game above 500 after being touted as the best team in the East and with a 10 year winning horizon. Not so much. Eating crow isn't much fun.
