Harrison Barnes just got traded to the Kings, per @wojespn

He's currently sitting on the Mavs bench. This is awkward. pic.twitter.com/xFgF4YNGZ9

The hype around Barnes has always been huge, but he got exposed in Dallas as a mini-Melo type of guy who makes your team worse, unless you surround him with future HoFs, like in GSW.To be the champs you got to beat the champs

He's a guy who can defend the 2-4 positions and shoots the 3 pretty well and can attack a closeout when needed. Very useful player to have just overpaid for what he does.

They are going to have to beat out the Lakers.. who seem to have taken the wind out of their sails with all the talk of trading everyone like they were bags of ketchup at Mickey D's for Davis.
Now it looks like that deal is on life support...
If the Kings get to the playoffs...a big atta boy for Vlade who has been dumped on for years...
Stange thing on the Barnes deal is that he is still on the floor tonight against Charlotte...Box Score shows he played 26 minutes.. but with the game on the line in the last few minutes.. he isn't on the floor...Last edited by Demographic Shift; Wed Feb 6, 2019, 11:37 PM.There's no such thing as a 2nd round bust.

Fox......Buddy who has never seen a shot he won't take Hield and Marvin Bagley will be the focus of the offense..
Barnes will get his shots in the corner ....play defense .. and be the fix to a long term SF problem in Sacto....
They have run through a lot of guys in that particualr role with little success... Rudy Gay.. Ben McLemore... and Justin Jackson.... maybe Barnes fixes that....There's no such thing as a 2nd round bust.
