It's hard to find dynamic players like that. If we are struggling to close games against a team as bad as the Wizards, how are we going to look vs the Celtics or the Warriors? Especially when they double Kawhi and we can't be sure whether Kyle will score in the clutch?
All kidding aside Beal played well today...and his team still lost.
The Whiz need to clean house..he will get a new start somewhere or just play out his deal and leave as a free agent if they can’t unload Wall this offseason. There's no such thing as a 2nd round bust.

Tied in overtime, 6.8 sec left, Nick Nurse drew up a masterpiece #Raptors #Wizards pic.twitter.com/d1iY8l4xCj

Yeah that sure looked poorly planned. Funny thing is that the last defensive possession (right before the one above) where Beal scored to tie the game and take it to OT2, was also a head scratcher: They had Kawhi on the player inbounding the ball for the Wiz, and someone else on Beal (unlike the whole time in OT where Kawhi was on Beal). So Beal just received the pass and took it to the paint for a floater without much resistance.
Other questionable setup was when Lowry couldn't inbound it because no one could get freed up, and he had to call a time out (luckly we had one). Nurse has had some pretty good coaching moments this season but there's been some shaky ones too.

Demographic Shift wrote: View PostHopefully this is a solid proof point on the proven science of jinxes eh Scrappy?
methodology: don't start an epic jinx thread about how overrated the celtics are before the season.
data: 25-17 record, 5th in the eastern conference, significant chemistry issues.
interpretation: the single biggest factor in the celtics disappointing season is DS not fucking it up with a jinx thread.
see?
