probably was actually banged up after that OT game in wash but played vs celtics cause it was a big game. I don't care if he misses time just get him Healthy. The toronro media need to chill with questioning what's going on with his injury. that's exactly what drove him from SA. he probably isn't feeling 100 percent and of so rest him. just don't blow this outta proportion toronto sun and Co. we playing for june

So the former Kings of Comedy come to the Vault tonight on the second road game of a back to back. The Kings after flailing around for what seemed like a decade are now a pretty solid team who are improving. This might be the last time a Kings team comes to Toronto as a big underdog for a while.

Fox is a tall, water bug fast, point guard. He makes mistakes to be sure but they are starting to space themselves out further and further. He is a find for the Kings for sure. Both Bagley and Cauley-Stein give the Kings a good front line with still more upside. Vlade has struggled learning the NBA GM ropes.... but.... a year later after the Cousins deal where he was panned as an idiot he looks pretty good on the Boogie for Buddy Hield and a first rounder trade. While Buddy isn't the next Steph Curry he is filling it up from the arc and shows no signs of it being a one year wonder. Justin Jackson who was the draft pick in the Boogie trade is a serviceable and young rotation piece going forward. Vlade also picked up two fellow countrymen in Bjelica and the other Bogdonovitch and the Kings are on the way up.

Tonight though they are the 4th game of a 6 game roadtrip.
Its their 3 game in 4 nights and its a back to back.
          Despite no Leonard.....the Raps post a W.

So.. now back to the full time fretting over the conspiracy theories around why Leonard is sitting out another game in January. Its a lower body injury

There's no such thing as a 2nd round bust.

I'm not so much worried but the fact he can't seem to stay on the court with any consistency is starting to be slightly disconcerting. People keep pointing out the rest days in the playoffs but the Raps are staring at close to 20 games just to get to the Finals......

Of course, theres a different threshold of what you sit out for in the playoffs. This stuff still seems more precautionary.

One would hope Kawhi doessnt sit out game 6@ Boston with a hang nail or stubbed toe

De'aaroon Fox (along with Vucevic) are the only ones that have a remote chance to get the MIP this year over Siakam imo. Today is a day to show it'll be Siakam's.

Lavine? Or his team is too trash?

Congratulations to the family of the late great Toronto legend Roy Halladay on election into the baseball hall of fame. I'm sad all over again. Tip of the hat to "Doc".

id say Russell is the biggest threat to siakam. the usually dont give it to 2nd year players as there expected to improve kinda rules fox out.

Sure yeah I think D'angelo russel is in the mix too, he's playing well I just think he was already pretty decent/good before (somewhat same rational for Lavine) whereas Siakam went from super raw and unable to do much on offence to borderline all-star in one year. Fox & Vucevic were pretty meh last year but they took their teams away from being punch bags to giving their fanbase at least some hope for the playoffs (so that's something, though still nothing like Siakam's leap)

What a great game to watch for both teams. Good ball movement, hard defence and shot making.
