I'm not so much worried but the fact he can't seem to stay on the court with any consistency is starting to be slightly disconcerting. People keep pointing out the rest days in the playoffs but the Raps are staring at close to 20 games just to get to the Finals......

Of course, theres a different threshold of what you sit out for in the playoffs. This stuff still seems more precautionary.

One would hope Kawhi doessnt sit out game 6@ Boston with a hang nail or stubbed toe

So the former Kings of Comedy come to the Vault tonight on the second road game of a back to back. The Kings after flailing around for what seemed like a decade are now a pretty solid team who are improving. This might be the last time a Kings team comes to Toronto as a big underdog for a while.

Fox is a tall, water bug fast, point guard. He makes mistakes to be sure but they are starting to space themselves out further and further. He is a find for the Kings for sure. Both Bagley and Cauley-Stein give the Kings a good front line with still more upside. Vlade has struggled learning the NBA GM ropes.... but.... a year later after the Cousins deal where he was panned as an idiot he looks pretty good on the Boogie for Buddy Hield and a first rounder trade. While Buddy isn't the next Steph Curry he is filling it up from the arc and shows no signs of it being a one year wonder. Justin Jackson who was the draft pick in the Boogie trade is a serviceable and young rotation piece going forward. Vlade also picked up two fellow countrymen in Bjelica and the other Bogdonovitch and the Kings are on the way up.

Tonight though they are the 4th game of a 6 game roadtrip.
Its their 3 game in 4 nights and its a back to back.
Despite no Leonard.....the Raps post a W.

So.. now back to the full time fretting over the conspiracy theories around why Leonard is sitting out another game in January. Its a lower body injury

Proof that Masai reads RR becuase this was what I suggested twice earlier; if they're going to sit him one of the back-to-backs, the Pacers game and potential playoff matchup is more important. I also suggested he likely had a continuing niggling injury and the medical staff pretty much confirmed it after sitting him out in a non back-to-back after Nurse had said his sitting was coming to an end. *pats himself on back lol*

Let's hope he's able to play against the Pacers now ....

Yeah you posted that this time around but you were all about "take no NBA for granted" philosophy (at least when they had the Cavs-Philly back to back, where when it was suggested Kawhi rest against the weak Cavs to save him for the stronger Philly, you thought we shouldn't ). According to that philosophy they should secure the SAC game by playing Kawhi and let him the chips fall where they may tomorrow against Indy.

I agree with they way they're doing it this time though (and the way you're suggesting now), that if he's gonna rest on one of the b2b nights, play him against the stronger of the two opponents on the b2b so we maximize the chances of winning both games, rather then always on the second night .

EDIT: I guess none of that matters he's sitting out both lol
