except the knicks had no friggin draft picks because isiah traded them all.

actually using our TPE, draft picks, and young talent to acquire high-priced vets that will allow us to barely compete for lousy playoff spots every year sounds more like the blueprint for isiah's knicks to me.
New York's situation is their own doing.

BC should build around the YG'z (Jack, Amir, DD, Weems, Davis) and surround them with quality NBA veterans (like Barbosa) using the assets available (Bargnani, Calderon, Evans, Banks, Bellineli, TPE) to acquire those veterans especially a real center, an experienced pg and an experienced wing player.

Toronto teams toil in mediocrity because too many fans & exec's have been way too accepting of it.

if u demand respect u will get respect.

if u demand greatness u will achive greatness

if your quick to accept a team to be crap & tank for a pick year after year then u will ALWAYS BE CRAP!
isn't allowing players to develop demanding greatness ?

or is demanding greatness signing matt barnes and boris diaw and hope that we make the playoffs ?

its so easy to say we demand greatness, but greatness takes time.

The FACT is that Mike Brown coached Cleveland to consecutive 60 plus win seasons plus to the NBA Finals a few years back.

        I don't speculate- I regulate.
The FACT actually is Mike Brown couldn't even make it to the finals with LBJ in these 60 win seasons...

The playoffs include 8 teams in each Conference so anywhere between 1-8 will suffice. The playoffs are a new season and anything can happen once you get there but you have to get there 1st, kiddo.
again you said it "anything can happen"

do you think the celtics and the lakers go into the playoffs thinking "hey, anything can happen"

nothing wrong with the young kids developing but they have to earn playing time, they have to work hard, never quit & Never believe that missing the playoffs is acceptable!!! & its real easy for players to get complacent when everything is just given to them
