Think of it this way, the story of the Greco Persian Wars was passed down for thousands of years with little to no written documentation but we still know the names of all the men who had armies in the war and have basic descriptions of what they did. If info like that can be accurately preserved several thousand years, why do people have sch trouble believing that the bible, arguably the most important book ever written, could have been kept accurate despite politics.
