In many people's eyes, Sullinger could be the BPA. If Bryan is willing to stack a position (in this case the PF position) then I think he'd draft him. Then look at trading him or both Ed/Amir for a wing/pg.

I was all over Sullinger until I heard he has one leg longer than the other. That's not good. Thorpe on ESPN believes that Sullinger along with Davis are who he believes will one day be future all-stars, compared to anyone else in the draft class. Not sure I'd go that far.. but the one comparison you see with Sullinger is David West, who's a pretty good player.

      • Right now if all the good wings (Barnes, MKG, and Beal) are off the board I would take Lillard...if... he has good work out and can show that his passing skills are up to snuff. If he appears to be another Bayless type player, I pass. He has the skills to be a good point guard in this league. I think the fact that he was forced to score the majority of Webers points put him at a slight disadvantage. If he was playing with UNC, UK, or KU I think he would have shown a different skill set.

The thing I'm most impressed with is his shooting percentages. These come with all eyes on trying to stop him as a primary scorer.

My other preference is Jeremy Lamb.

        • Just curious if there was any hype around Lillard prior to deciding to come back to Weber St. this past season. Was anyone comparing him to Walker, Knight or Irving from last years draft and discussing if he might go top 10 or how he stacked up against those pg's? He looks like a scoring machine, but I would have thought there would have been more talk about him similar to the bigger names which stayed with their teams another year. Seems more like people are talking about him because there are so few guards in this years draft.

He was injured all last year. Broken foot.

                    • I can't wait for lottery night to see the look on MJ's face when Washington or Clevland end up with the first pick. It's going to be oh so sweet.

                          Davis? A Johnson?

I'm not a big fan of Sullinger, but I think that he'll score and rebound at a pretty high rate in the NBA, and would provide a low-post scoring option better than either Davis or Johnson.

Who else in this draft (outside the projected top 6-7) looks like a clear improvement over what the Raptors currently have?

Personally, I have a feeling that T. Jones will be a very good NBA player at the 3/4. Could he become a player like Al Harrington (when he was decent) or Josh Smith?

If we managed to get tyreke evans without giving up the draft pick we could get jeremy lamb to go beside him since reke needs the ball in his hand and lamb plays really well off the ball, just a thought though.
