  • Undrafted prospects

Hopefully BC is looking in to this:

The Los Angeles Lakers, Miami HEAT, San Antonio Spurs, Memphis Grizzlies, Charlotte Bobcats, Philadelphia 76ers and Atlanta Hawks will hold mini camps either starting this weekend or Monday morning.

This is an excellent opportunity for undrafted rookies to make a name for themselves, especially considering the Las Vegas Summer League has been cancelled and teams won't be able to look at players during the looming lockout.

Here are the top undrafted prospects, who could resurface in the NBA in the near future:

Ben Hansbrough, Brad Wanamaker, Damian Saunders, David Lighty, Demetri McCamey, Diante Garrett, Gilbert Brown, Giorgi Shermadini, Greg Smith, Jacob Pullen, Jamie Skeen, Jamine Peterson, Jereme Richmond, Julyan Stone, Kalin Lucas, Kevin Anderson, Malcolm Thomas, Matt Howard, Michael Dunigan, Mickey McConnell, Rick Jackson, Scotty Hopson and Xavier Silas.

Pullen or McCamey would be interesting third string PGs to sign.

Hansbrough, Lighty and Julyan Stone would be the names out of that list. Xavier Silas felt very slighted not getting picked and has a 'chip on his shoulder', but I don't know why. Good 3pt shot though.

The only one that really interests me is Lighty, tho Silas is kind of intriguing if he is in fact a Morrow type dude. Team needs outside shooting bad.

I could see Matt Howard landing a gig somewhere.
