Not bad, really ... I wouldn't say he did much "studio time", just some drum samples and repeating guitar riff and vibe organ.
-He has a really awesome voice, but could use a little work on his phrasing. Some of the words are pronounced too well for pop.
No need to compare him to the pros, he's an NBA player branching out. After writing for a while longer he'll probably tighten it up.

Wow, really guys? My expectations were very, very low to begin with so I was actually impressed when I heard it... Usually when a pro athlete tries to do anything musically it ends up being a heck of a lot worse than this. JuJu at least has a decent voice.Last edited by jrdyck; Sun Jul 10, 2011, 09:12 PM.

Is it just me or did it sound like he was reading the lyrics off a piece of paper?

If my 14 yr old nephew did this song, I'd be all over it and showing everybody and telling everybody how great it is. But, dude, this is absolutely unbearably bad. Like really really bad. In fact I'd say the opening is down right creepy. Yuck.

Demar could have hooked Wright up with Master P.
but I doubt Master P would return his calls.
Don't quit your day job wright, work on those jumpshots instead of going to the studio for this.....

How's that for a pleasant surprise?
EDIT: Apparently, he wrote, sang, and produced it as well.Last edited by jrdyck; Sat Jul 9, 2011, 03:46 PM.Tags: None
