Meanwhile, Dahntay Jones gets a 31-4-6, Austin Daye gets 30-10-3blks. Even raps OG TJ Ford nets a 20-4-8, and rookie Isaiah Thomas gets 26-10-9. Also, DD's 54% shooting is at the low end in this defenceless league. All in all, perhaps DD's stats are quite pedestrian?

DeRozan shot 56% the 2FG and 3FG are separated. The only reason why all those guys scored more was because they went to the FT line. Dahntay Jones went to the line 14 times making 9.

          Something to keep in mind:

Every (or just about) player in the NBA is talented - especially at the guard and wing position. They would not be where they are if they weren't very good. Within the NBA the environment, coach, style of play, depth at position, or injury may limit how much the player 'produces' or exaggerate how much they 'produce'.

Also there is the fact these games are essentially meaningless and, for lack of a better word, pick up games. How many players are amazing in 'practice' yet cannot put it together when it really matters.

I don't think we should take into account how he plays in this "league". There's no defense, it's just guys having fun. And there's nothing wrong with that, it's good that DeRozan is still playing basketball. But stats and highlights from this are just for fun and really shouldn't be taken too seriously.

Although this is just organized pick-up it is good to see DeMar shooting and making 3's, this should build some confidence. going forward. If he can at least start to hit the open look it will make the game so much easier for him and the Raptors.

Yes, that is a good point I forgot to mention. 3/5 from 3pt is nice to see.

                  My thoughts exactly.

You think Dahntay Jones is coming into an NBA game and putting up 31? Not a chance.

                          DeMar DeRozan vs Iman Shumpert
                          http://www.ballislife.com/video/demarvsshumpert

Both were going pretty hard and were trash talking all game long. Iman had 27 points 6 rebounds. DeMar had 35 points and 6 rebounds

This league kinda sucks from the highlights I have watched so far. It is no more than just pick-up, there seems to be zero competitiveness, Derozan was not even getting a hand up to contest most of the jumpers Shumpert took. I think this "league" will actually have a negative impact on Demar's development of in game play.
