Writing is on the wall for Barbosa. Probably get a second for him.
if he is healthy and we hang on to him for a month, it'll be a first in the 20's.

I dont understand. If he is restricted, decent player and cheap/affordable, why would Denver let him go? They dont have cap issues do they?

Honestly don't remember this guy at all. Certainly frees up the option to trade Barbosa without a gaping hole, and getting a solid pick in return.

He had very solid games against the Raptors last season. If he gets to be a Raptor he'll being in the running for the starting SF as the roster stands now with Kleiza out and JJ working on his jump shot. Forbes is a good shooter, athletic guy. He must have been playing in Europe before as he was a rookie last year at age 25.

Kwame is a good defender/rebounder who'll find a spot on some team this year.

Yeah, kinda seems like an odd move unless Colangelo already has an offer for Barbosa.

He's a SG and we are getting Mickeal Pietrus. He sure as hell won't start but he'll be good off the bench

ESPN has him as a forward.

                          http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/4312/gary-forbes

He's taller and heavier than Sonny Weems who played SF for the Raptors.

that doesn't prove anything, Weems isn't a SF, he was forced into that role. Forbes played SG for the nuggets and for his national team. He's the same height as DeMar.

The Raptors don't want to win, remember. So who really knows who is going to start at SF. Forbes was on one of the deepest teams in the league last year but if he is retained by the Nuggets he should be higher in the rotation with the players that left to play in China and I believe Afflalo is unsigned so far.

Forbes is listed as a forward on nba.com.
