The NBA has changed significantly in the last 5-8 years with C's.

There are still some big traditional C's like Chandler, Bynum or Howard but there are also a lot of other 6'9"/11" - 230/240 guys manning the middle like Horford, Love, Noah, etc.

Amir/ED are not going to handle traditional guys in the middle - but they are the minority which is why I want a guy like Gray (or Zaza for that matter). I think they can handle the 'new' NBA C.

Yeah, it's hard to think of a better fit than Gray. Can Gray lose 10 lbs and gain 4-6 inches on his leap?

Man, the C position really kinda blows in the NBA right now. Not a lot of depth...I hope we get Gray back. For what we need I'd rather him than some of the other options. I don't want to start a guy like Mahinmi or Hollins. I'd rather start JV. Anyone see Przybilla play last year??? Is he still viable?? Of course, Gray is still a better option than him, too.

yeah Gray also has hands of stone like Kwame so he is an offensive liability on the floor, do we look at trying to sign another young C like Jordan Hill or Ian Mahinmi???

Are we talking about the same Aaron Gray? I remember delicately Charmin-like hands and a big brute of a man who ran like a gazelle in the meadow.

In all seriousness, I'd love to have Aaron Gray back. He was a lot better than advertised.

Just re-sign Aaron Gray to a minimum contract. Am I the only one who remembered the MVP chants?

The guy works hard, and will fit in whatever system, bring him back. No Hollins, No Mahinmi. Veterans is what we need, Aaron plays like one. With all the young guys, it's smart to bring in a locker room dog, like Magloire. I'm quite surprised we have't gone after a defensive specialist, or some type of veteran wing.

ready or not i think JV will be the default starting C.
There's just way tooooo much hype on his arrival, that alone warrants a starting C spot.
I dont agree with it but thats most like how its going to play out
OR, DC will say he needs to earn the spot blah blah blah so during training camp he'll probably be with the 2nd unit then 2 days before the season starts BC will say he has earned his stripes during camp and pre-season and he'll get the nod to start.

Resign Aaron Gray = Dealing with the C position.

Let Magloire go though, get some young back up C, to get filler minutes and develop.

+1 I think stiemsma is greatly underrated.

+1 for Grey, he was awesome last year. One of my highlights of last season was the MPV chants for Grey. Which is both hilarious and sad. Please let this team be better next season.

Raps have lots of options - but the one that fits Colangelo's history best just might be picking up Elton Brand up off the Amnesty waiver wire. 1 year commitment, veteran player, should go cheap
