Time to get a veteran presence on the team.
At least strengthen the 3 position.
Pietrus ?????
After the Detroit game I started to think about the moves made before 2012-13 season.
Too bad we couldn't get Nash. Too bad we didn't draft Drummond. Too bad we didn't keep Bayless. Too bad we didn't resign Barbosa. Too bad we signed Fields. Too bad we lost our 2013 1st round draft pick.

If Ross started, he could at least pick his spots as opposed to feeling like he needs to jack up every shot .. which would be much better for his development as a pro

I agree with starting Ross, but the hard part would be to convince Casey. As stated in post #2. Landry Fields is starting to look good right now. I guess absence does make the heart grow fonder.

I agree with this. McGuire is awful and all of his minutes should be divided between Kleiza and Ross.

Replace McGuire with either Kleiza or Ross.
Notice last night, Raps made their run in the 3rd when they took out McGuire halfway through the 3rd. Nothing against McGuire but with him in the lineup it's like playing 4 on 5 on the offensive end of the floor.
I understand why he's starting because he's supposed to be one of our lock down defender. But let's get real here, is he really that good of a defensive player?
I say start Ross at the 2. DeRozan at the 3. I like Kleiza coming off the bench.Tags: None
