I still think 86 is pretty bad. 1 out of every 8 times your team plays Jose isn't playing. And that trend over 7 years is what makes him injury prone.
I agree, he's missed nearly a whole season of game-play if you count it all up. 81 games missed! Imagine having Calderon in some possibly key games, would things be different?

Plus, I don't understand the "With Calderon, look where this franchise has gone?" Well, he's surely an impact player at the point position, but overall, it's a team game. You can't load overall, organizational losing on one player. Now, you can say the same thing about Bargnani, but Bargnani is a talented player, who no doubt could easily have the most impact on any game, on any given night. BUT, the difference is, he doesn't care. He just doesn't do what he's asked, and that's the difference.

Jose is one of the hardest working, most professional athletes in pro-sports. This guy has an impact on a game, no doubt, but you can't put a loss on him because it's a team game. I say #tradeBargnani because he's a player that shows no commitment to give 100% effort all the time, whilst Calderon gives it to you. He makes mistakes, but he makes mistakes at 100% effort. That's really all you can ask. Jose is a shit defender, everyone can attest to that, but you could certainly tell he tries his best to keep his man in front.

Thats not true. Houston was running pick n roll with Lin and Asik to start the game and Eddy Davis just broke the play up and got us run out opportunities.

What about Kyle Lowry then? He's played in 375 games in 6+ seasons compared with Calderon's 505 games in 7+ seasons. Even if KL's first season in which he only played 10 games is discounted, he has played in 365 games out of 491 since his second season in which he played every game. That's 74%.
How much time did he miss last season with his virus though? It would've been at least a month of no play and I wouldn't consider an illness an injury.

If you base it on the last three full seasons it is closer to 1 out of every 6 games.

    Great game to watch.

Raps still need talent - don't forget that. But the truly great teams have talent that buys in to the system and believes in their teammates.

Casey ball is alive and well again.

Next time Colangelo says anything to Casey, I hope Casey's reply is, "Eat a can of d!ck up, motherf___er." A little crude, sorry, but true nonetheless.

For anyone doubting #tradeBargnani is not only desirable, it is a necessity.

Not all love for Casey today though. Biggest issue I've got is the loooooong stetches of strictly jump shots. They need to get some quick rotations of the ball to create opportunities for catch and rips from the weak side or weak side cuts. Getting the ball in the post (either DD or JV/ED/AJ/LK) is also important. Too much "JUMP SHOT".

Nice to have a winning streak.

Buzz kill time: season is still lost for playoffs. Accumulate draft picks and play the yoot!

    comment from clutchfans forumas (Rockets).
Dwane Casey tried everything he could to lose this game, but in the end he was not able to defend his title as the worst coach in the NBA.

The Rockets were able to make a run at the end of 1st when Ed Davis went to the bench and Linus "Airball for Jesus" Kleiza was in to chuck clankers, then Casey sat Davis in the 4th to almost allow a Rockets comeback.

How did Davis lose his crown? Far inferior gameplan from McHale. Everybody and his dog know that Calderon can't even defend a newborn kitten on the PnR, so what does McHale do? Have his PGs bring the ball up the court then pass it off. No screen for his PGs until halfway through the 3rd with one, then a ways later another. That should have been an integral part of the gameplay from the 1st quarter to the end of the game. I don't give a rat's ass if it's PnR with Uglas. Finally saw a little bit of Asik-Uglas PnR in the 4th, then nothing. Also when there were finally a couple of high screens for the PGs halfway through the 3rd, why in the nine hells would you use Davis' man for the screen!?!? Where the #$@* was the scouting report!?!?

Then there is the complete and utter lack of recognition. Ed Davis was not there for the big stretch in the 4th. Yeah your inside game was wrecked against Davis through the first three quarters except for the stretch near the end of 1st when he was out, but he was out again in the 4th thanks to Casey. Go back to attacking the paint, you dolt! Good god, I don't think I have screamed as much at my computer since watching Carl Landry being coached by Paul Westphal. Still can't believe PnR the living crud out of Calderon wasn't front and center in the gameplan with Lowry out. If anything they deliberately went away from picks for their PGs. There were more picks set for the PG in other games. In the one game it will work especially well they deliberately go away from it? Is there a standing tanking order? ***.

Well, congratulations, Kevin McHale, you have now taken over Dwane Casey's crown. Enjoy it while you still have a job.
Was I the only one, who almost didn't understood anything?
