It's funny to think that JV's willingness to play defense is actually hurting us (when he overhelps)...he is the exact opposite of Bargnani!

I hope and prey that we stick to this as the starting lineup and have bargs come off the bench (assuming he is still on the team)when he recovers. I cannot tell you how much better we will be

Bargnani getting injured = best thing that could happen for Toronto, in the short term at least. He wasn't going to get traded until LA has played some games with Nash and Gasol, not necessarily because they'll be swapped, but because Gasol is probably the first domino that needs to drop for trades to get going. And Bargs was killing our team out there. Now Casey can just run out Davis and JV freely. Obviously they should still only get minutes they deserve, but at least Bargs isn't taking some of those very deserved minutes from them anymore.

It's strange, but the Raptors are actually getting a surprising amount of media coverage this season. Granted, a lot of it is because of Bargnani trade rumours, and in particular to LA, but it's still nice.

We will have our very own Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol combo if Val learns to pass

"All good signs, even if both Davis and Valanciunas need to work on avoiding near-collisions in the paint."

                that cracked me up

No on both counts. Geniuses like Randolph do not develop in the NBA, they come into it. Davis is never going to be that. If he puts on weight he might be a good starting 4.
I'm hoping for Tyson chandler and jermaine oneal is that too much to ask ?
