I dont bet on basketball anymore..strictly NFL and a little hockey...basketball point spread was too hard, last minute garbage time skewers results so often

I was on football for the first 4-5 weeks of the season. wasn't doing to well against the spread and then i hit a 7 game over/under parlay. Figured that was a good sign to stop and left a little behind to play with for the NBA season.
Ya it's tough with garbage time but i just look for 1 or 2 games a night where the spread seem to be underestimating a team. Wizards were double digit underdogs twice last week and covered both easy winning against the thunder out right.

The only time I ever wagered on sports was with ProLine like 20+ years ago.. and that was with hockey.

So a quick lesson for basically a noob here.. Raps are showing as -4.5 favourites against Orlando on ESPN (not sure where they get these from, but I assume some Vegas book). Let's say I think the Raps cover, what do I do (just as an example). Do I have to bet on a minimum number of games? And what are some typical minimum bids that you can place? Like can you do a $5 or $10 wager somewhere just to test the waters?

Also what's a popular/reputable gambling site that takes Canadian funds?

Not sure how it works out east but here if your going through the gov. regulated gambler you have to bet a minimum 3 games which is ridiculous. Online is the way to go. Can bet single game, score at half, lots more options. And yes there isn't any minimum $ amount i don't bet big money usually just $10 bucks on a game. One thing is some site have a minimum amount you can withdraw usually have to have at least $100 in funds to withdraw. Bet365, Pinnacle and Sports Interaction are all sites that work for Canadians.

Bet365 is by far the best with the most random bets ... reminds me of that movie "Rat Race" where John Cleese would just bet on the most ridiculous things ... you can bet on the most arbitrary and random stats, like "Team with most 3's in a Quarter" or stuff like that with 365. Friend of mine makes an absolute killing with it.

Iv'e done really well live betting. When teams get down 10-15 points early. You can live bet spread at like -11.5 pts. I look for teams that get out to slow starts who i think can close the gap and hit the live point spread.

idk, I lost like a lot of bets this month. Raptors are playing really bad now, I am not going to bet on them anymore, because they are too unstable. I just found a great gambling platform on https://www.casinodots.com/online-ca...svensk-licens/ and will be betting on only on matches that I am 100% sure. I have a friend that has lost like 10000$ on betting, and oh, I don't want to be like him. Betting is interesting, but dangerous, it's very important to be careful with it

Well, they are in a pretty debatable form. I mean, they won four of them during their last five games. However, some of those games were stressful. The game against the Warriors was 100-119, the game against the Nets, a 131-129 loss. Man, I don't understand how that is possible. I don't recommend betting on them right now. I would recommend you wait a bit until their form is more stable. But, if you want to gamble so much, you could try your luck on W88 link. I've been playing there for the last couple of months.

It is a pity that this topic is not so popular. Personally often bet at https://oddsdigger.com/basketball. The Chicago Bulls vs Toronto Raptors game is coming soon. Who do you think will win?
