I don't need casey to go, but I need him to experiment, and you know, play our only defensive minded wing on tyreke evans for the last play of the game instead of I don't know our slowest footed guard.

I see a 1st round exit in our future. ISO Lou/Kyle/DeMar and a arm flailing Hansborough aren't about to beat a team that actually scouts for us.
The danger isn't imminent but it's very clear. A 4th place finish probably gets us Wizards, Bulls or Cavs in the 1st round. Even if we avoid that we get Van Gundy, Spoelstra or Kidd as opposing coaches.
Can't wait to see who the coach is next year.

Its still the defense that bothers me much more than the offense. Isos and not passing in the post sucks.
But what really sucks is Casey trying to fit 5 round pegs into 5 square holes. JV is not Tyson Chandler, he cannot hedge and get back to block shots (yet). His rotations are slow (for now). The rest of the guys get exhausted trying to trap, then rotate, then trap some more. Good passing teams like the Hawks are going to eat that defense alive.

Casey's system doesn't really fit the majority of the players on the team, and the majority of the team is overrated. The reality is though that MU's a pretty patient guy and from what i understand, views the team as still in a rebuild. now the re-signings this offseason (of GV and PP) are looking bad. i'm at a complete loss as to where to go from here. there's no real trades to be had that'll improve the team that aren't stop-gap (and thus stupid) and it's pointless to fire Casey now. basically, have to just ride the season out. hope guys get it together.
this was my biggest worry, i said it before and i'll say it again, most everyone on the team overachieved last year. now everyone (for the most part) is playing at the level they actually are and teams have figured us out on both sides of the ball.@sweatpantsjer

i'm not trying to come off all doom and gloom but unless key players (Ross, PP, GV, DD, JV, Lou, Lowry) start playing much better this is a first round exit team waiting to happen and the bottom end of the east is even worse than it was last year.@sweatpantsjer

i don't want to say Casey sucks because that's not fair. it's just Casey has his system and while it does work, the mavs showed us that, its just the team as built doesn't really have the players for it. i think casey could have very good success if he inherited a team that plays to his systems strengths and he let someone run the offense.@sweatpantsjer

So yeah, again, you are saying that all players we have, should ADAPT to CASEY's system? Isnt its obvious they cannot? Because it's almost as if playing to their weaknesses? Weren't Raptors praised for having one of the deeper benches in the league and had one of the best backourts? I would understand if Casey would be Phil Jackson, but he is Dwayne Casey? Assistant coach of 2010 Mavs, with superstar who put the team on his shoulders in the playoffs? Man... :| Does it makes sense to you?Official Pope of the Raptors sponsored by MLSE.

It proves that he has no system, flexibility and creativity whatsoever. The only creativity we have seen from him was trying to follow newest leagues tendencies by going small ball and adjust to every team, instead of trying to introduce his own game, system, yeah sure... NBA as every sport, as every job out there is always changing, see how well the old good triangle offense has turned out for Knicks. Adapt or go extinct.
