I also don't like the idea of bringing in any useful assets because if they're being managed by Casey, then that's like throwing good money after bad.

Not a banner night for Casey. Saying that far too often lately. I hate that 4th Q turtling. Thought we'd seen the last of it (it was a symptom seen last season when Biz closed games instead of JV). Found a way to pull it off even with JV in the game. Delightful.

Until then, opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one and they most often stink

Kyle Lowry: "Something gotta give, something gotta change" What? "I have an idea but I’mma keep my mouth shut, keep it professional"
All the other teams can now read that our biggest FA and best player wants a change to happen and is voicing his "displeasure and concern"....now teams just sit back and droll thinking how much more should they ask for?! Because the obvious assumption is if your big FA is pointing it out to everyone he's not going to happy with standing pat and if we don't act on anything with the hard time he's having out there then we'll just see come summer time how "quickly" he decides to re-sign or not...

This next week is a deadline for Masai and the fate of this "core".

It's another when your biggest FA goes public about needing a change.
From all the trade rumours we've haven't come across rushed or giving the appearance of being desperate to make a move but could walk away from the deal if it didn't fit our liking....
Now you have your best player and big FA basically telling you I need something to change, this isn't acceptable. So before it appears you can walk away from a deal, that's coming from a position of power. Now they you can't or you're sending a public message to your FA star that you're not on the page and that can easily change someone's opinion if they should stay or not. Good luck Masai selling Kyle on playing the second highest minutes in the league in his contract year and all MU continues to do is collect young players. Kyle knows his timeline can't be reliant on players hoping the young bench's development catches up to the timeline he's on. It's going to be now or never for him. A lot more is on the line then just a losing streak, teams can now see blood.
