I remember people saying they wanted DD to get hurt so they could see what they had in Ross and JV. Be careful what you wish for.
    Wow

    That is totally untrue.

What was said, because I said it, was it would be good to see DD miss 5 games for whatever reason. I even stated at that time that people would misconstrue what was said.

As for what we saw in Ross and JV....
JV: what we've always known - very positive impact on game and more so when he is involved by teammates.
Ross: a guy who continues to be misused and likely lacks demeanour and mindset to be a great pro - but has all the tools.

    • I don't know about the fire Casey thing, all I know is that he said in an interview that players can pretty much do whatever they want on offense provided they buy into the defense. That's why we see so much ISOs. Also, that's absolutely nuts for any NBA coach to say.

      • This thread is hilarious in some respects.

People want to fire Casey because the offence looks ugly. It does and it's the #1 offence in the entire NBA.

True, the offence isn't #1 in the entire NBA because of Casey's coaching brilliance. It's #1 in the entire NBA because it has a bunch of good to very good to excellent offensive players.

However, if you walked into Masai's office and told him he should fire Casey for the team's offensive ineptitude, he'd either laugh in your face, call security or probably both.
If we knew half as much about coaching an NBA team as we think, we"d know twice as much as we do.

Luckily the defense is shit too.

D'Antoni's 2 seasons in LA, his offence was 9th and 21st.

D'Antoni's 3 full years in NY offence 17th, 17th, 7th and 17th the year he was fired.

Karl's offence was 5th his last year in Denver, defence 11th. Team won 57 games. Shaw replaced him - offence 16th, defense 21st, 36 wins.

No he resigned Casey.... To a very fire friendly contract.

Could be cavs or lakers who are paying 2-3 coaches each for not being there.

Hawks shot over 60% against Toronto. That isn't hot shooting, that's layups.
