It's a dribble-drive offense. Guys are expected to be able to dribble and drive and kick unless they have an open shot. Ross is getting shots (that he should be making), but he's also being asked to develop a little more to his game. Not sure how that constitutes tanking our player development.

Ross has been bad. A lot of that is his problem. But there's still lots of validity in saying that an offensive system wherein Ross (and Patterson) are consistently asked to dribble-drive is broken beyond repair.

These players (in my opinion, all players) will have better success in an offense that is willing to swing the ball around and make more than 1 pass in an offensive set (note: the idiotic pass from guard to center at the top of the 3pt line on every posession doesn't count).

Also Kings game, plays Biyombo 15 mins straight while JV rots on the bench and the Kings play 5 on 4. Also Heats game, starters come out (in the second half I believe), struggling, Casey calls a timeout and plays the exact same lineup that was struggling. The guy is terrible at in game adjustments.

i've downloaded the games and watched them and not, so again not everybody. coaches are judged on wins. we can keep moving the bar forever for you guys but it won't make any difference.

it could be that casey has gotten this team as far as he can. it could be that his coaching niche is taking horrid horrid teams and making them competitive and struggles in taking the next step from there. we will know for sure after this years playoffs but again, he isn't a bad coach and if the "haters" would apply the same logic and reasoning they selectively do to how bad he is they would see that. it is a goose gander problem because reasons and reason isn't welcome
