  • Basketball Literature

Hey guys, I know we have a broad base of knowledge here at RR with some posters being extremely knowledgeable and well informed so I'm hoping you guys might be able to recommend some reading material to expand our collective knowledge base as a fan base, maybe even like a "recommended reading list". These can be anything like books, articles, podcasts, etc. any kind of literature to advance knowledge of offensive and defensive systems, analytics, operations side of basketball. If anyone could recommend these I would really appreciate it. My goal is to eventually compile a list of the best ones and have an RR Reading List.

I'll start with one I just completed a couple months back:

    To start...

The Jordan Rules by Sam Smith
The Book of Basketball by Bill Simmons
The Breaks of the Game by David Halberstam

There is a ton of stuff here: http://www.reddit.com/r/nba/wiki/index

And everyone should watch Hoop Dreams. Great movie.
