Putting this here so it doesn't get lost, but an extremely positive analysis of our our new offence and the path forward from an outside observer.

If we knew half as much about coaching an NBA team as we think, we"d know twice as much as we do.

        One great quote:

"This offense," Valanciunas says, "has made my life better."
        "Stop eating your sushi."
"I do actually have a pair of Uggs."
"I've had three cups of green tea tonight. I'm wired. I'm absolutely wired."

          Another:
He is delightfully adamant about the playoff utility of a full bench. "I'm still looking for the manual that says you have to play eight guys," Casey says. "Until someone shows me otherwise, we gotta be who we are."

And Poeltl sadly summing up the old offence.

"We were working so hard," says Jakob Poeltl, Toronto's precocious backup center, "for not very good shots."

Keon Clark posted this somewhere earlier. It's a long read, just finished it last night, but it is a fascinating look at the 98-99 lockout from the viewpoints of many the people involved.

Some terrific journalism from ESPN on Tim Donaghy betting on NBA games. Despite the league finding little evidence Donaghy actually fixed games, or more accurately fixed the over-under spreads, it's rather obvious the league did their best to sweep it under the rug.

Don't know if anyone but me and the other Keon are interested, but here is Part 2 of the 98-99 lockout, with Charles slapping Charles, back-to-back-to-backs, Pops almost getting canned and Spurs "interns" helping win the 'ship.

The linked piece is about Brogdon, Bucks, Milwaukee and Giannis A. The timeline was around March '19 so pre the Brogdon trade. Apart from learning more about Brogdon and his off court activities, it also speaks to the culture of Milwaukee city ... also surprising. The Bucks will miss Brogdon in more ways than his play.
