  • Everything Cory Joseph

    As per the front page:
    http://www.raptorsrepublic.com/2015/...ick-the-tires/

Spurs have withdrawn the qualifying offer for Cory's services. I know DanH has been pretty eager to see Cory join the Raps, if it is on a good contract. It looks like it might be possible now. Good move?

(Can't fix the spelling error in title. Mods?)

For 6-7M or so, would be a great addition.

Would be kind of refreshing to have a pair of smart, efficient, defensive guards off the bench this year.

And carrying on with the theme of forcing the team to be better defensively despite Casey's "Schemes."

Yup, one of the few Canadians who is actually a really good fit here. I'd love to see it. (But priority #2 after starting PF).

the way the roster looks if they sign CuJo Raps can just play a conventional D with a SF guarding the best player and backup guards that can prevent scrubs from having career nights.

Delon & CoJo on the same team would be a waste of $

also in hindsight Raptors should have taken Portis if they sign CuJo

yes...nothing wrong with Wright and I think he's gonna be a solid player but Portis fit the team need.

Maybe he doesn't like the taxes, winters or metric system

Wright is unproven and will likely spend some time in the d-league, CoJo is a solid young backup from the spurs system that a playoff team needs.

Actually, given Wright's height and length, I'd like to see them play together with Wright guarding the opposing 2-guard.
