Tho he admitted he should have stayed, hindsight is 20/20 but no doubt Vince/Tracy combo would have brought the Raps to some kind of NBA finals/NBA title... from 2002 to about 2007 I think Toronto would have won a championship in there no doubt with Vince/Tracy if they played to their potential in their prime...

Yeah. Vince was such an absolute sensation. He cast an enormous shadow. It's a shame Tracy couldn't have had the foresight to realize his own legend could've been even bigger than it would ever become had they remained together.

And I'm sorry but, Durant/Curry, Lebron/Wade, even Kobe/Shaq ... not since Jordan/Pippen would a pair of stars have played such a fuckin breathtaking style of ball. Those were two athletic, talented, flashy showmen. It's just an unspeakable damn shame.

Pretty much. Kobe said multiple championships for sure, if they had stayed together. Just our bad luck that this was the era right before 'teaming up' became trendy for superstars. If it was today, TMac would have stayed and then they would have easily recruited another all-star or two.

Heck, even if we had just kept Doug Christie, we probably beat the Sixers. BTW, anytime anyone pulls up video of that Game, I can't help but smile.... as I saw it LIVE. Vince was just nasty that whole game & wanted to win so badly. He was hungry.
