    Lord works in mysterious ways..
    Masai..Playboy u drinking again...wtf were u thinking..
Curious Doc of why you are always implying this about Masai, do you know of something we don’t know?…..serious question.

other than that, divine intervention that he bet on himself and didn’t take that offer….man that could handcuffed the franchise, signing an oft injured player with limitations in his game, on a decline and obviously has reached his peak as a player.

if his role is best as an off ball guard then there are interesting prospects in the draft in my opinion. I am not assuming that we can move him for a piece of equivalent value I am suggesting we take a step back and get more picks for the draft while doing that. He isn't going to return to all star level again.
Raptors first have to give the signal that they are in fact giving up on the season. My belief is that they are still hoping they can turn the season around in the next few weeks like they did last year.

I saw an interesting trade on twitter:

Dyson Daniels and a few picks is a no brainer. If NOLA is indeed going for it and that's the kind of player the Raptors should target as he fits the timeline better and looks to be a high ceiling player.

Silver is clamping down on tanking.
Raptors has to be smart about doing this.

It could be simply just being unfortunate or bad luck but Nick's coaching and the FO's inability acquire players this season can mean unplanned stealth tanking.

        • I guess I should point out the good with the bad, Freddy had 8 and 12 assists in his last 2 games......that's an important stat I did not notice with the poor shooting.

          • Fred was just quoted as saying "as long as this tema is together, we gotta play hard"... he knows what's up

I guess I missed all the rumors where Schroeder was gonna be traded for prospects and picks.

              Oh, wait, that never happened.

Schroeder freaking sucks guys and it's a huge insult to compare Fred to Schroeder. Can't even take you seriously if you're doing that.

              • Also everyone needs to come to a reckoning with the new cap. $30M is gonna be double the MLE. So same as $20M now.

                • Lewenberg and Grange were fed sh*t. Lol.

No offer was made by MLSE.

                  • Sounds like a technicality. Verbal offer was likely offered but both sides felt they could wait until later in the season. Official contract with papers to be signed likely weren't offered. So Fred could be right here. And so could Grange. Didn't read JLew's article so no idea what he said.

                    • Either way.. Fred really blew it with his play this year. He's a career 38% 3pt shooter, and was consistent at that too. He's shooting 32.5% this year. If he was able to get to his career average, that max extension would likely still be there. Let's see what happens in the back half this season.

He was 4-9 today.. so good start.

Did you even listen to the clip?

He clearly says they talked about all the scenarios and both decided it was best to wait since he can sign the extension anytime this season and has the player option for next season.

Not sure if you're just trying to stir stuff up or hard if hearing.

If Fred was willing to take the $114M deal it would be done. He wasn't.

Can you read? Or are you blind? Or illiterate?

I said NO offer was made. That contradicts what Lewenberg just put out there and Grange confirmed.

Btw… I did listen to the clip. That’s obvious if you can read.

So you you still think it's there to be signed as of today?
The tweet out a couple of days ago says they're discussing a deal in this area (110?)

He said he was never made a formal offer. Key word bolded.

You know there's still half a season to go right? If his bad play was due to playing while injured then he might finally be feeling better. He's certainly been playing better the last few games now. Similar to Gary having returned to form after he got over his injury/sickness from start of the season.
