Maybe not Lakers if they go far. Top dogs in LA seem to like Darvin Ham. But Nicks ideal landing spot is a playoff team on the verge of competing rather than a rebuild. Funny enough the Sixers may be that team, Joel loves trolling Nick even when they arnt playing so would be kind of funny if he ended up there. Could also see maybe the Mavericks if they need drastic changes to keep Luka or the pelicans.

This narrative makes me laugh lol. Who else is there to develop other than Scottie? he's the only good young player we have.

If Nurse goes to Houston, he'll have guys like Green and Sengun, Christopher and a top 3 pick this year to develop. I will take everything I said if those guys don't develop into good/great players.

I can just imagine Nurse in Houston. Looks like nurse is on his 3,456,234 lineup this year and dj Augustin has played 48 minutes a game in every game. I mean he'll pull the plug after 7 minutes on each player and then recycle, between screaming at the refs on every play.

It seems pretty clear from the Lewenberg and Geange articles that this had far more to do with Nurse not being able to manage his staff and players. I suspect what we are gearing is just the tip of the iceberg. Samson Folk mentioned yesterday he thought the ‘interpersonal stuff’ was the driving factor. The strategy, player deployment, development, might all be concerns but they seem secondary.

For all the dayone fans we should remember how hard it is to sign a good coach. We went through hell.

I have no doubt Nurse is the best coach we’ve had. With that being said he’s the opposite of Casey. Casey is perfect for developing talent and getting the most out of youth but when it come to X’s and O’s Or game planning he was garbage.

Nurse was selfish in a sense that he would sacrifice development for the W by playing the players he trusted the most. He was to focused on his success/legacy hence the NN hats lmao. It’s not about you it’s about the team.

We don’t know the direction the team is going so we can’t really predict who we should hire. Realistically probably 5-8 coaches in the L that can win a championship. We’re not there and what this team need’s happens to be nurse weakness. Guys a winner and needs a roster that has a chance to show his value.

How was he selfish? Management also wanted to win but develop too. Starting to think management wanted their cake and eat it too.

Gary Trent mentioned in his exit interview that he was called by Nurse to the media, but that's the first he heard of the complaint, and Nurse had not spoken to him first.. That's an interesting quote.
