With all the panic going on about Kawhi being silent and not even acknowledging Toronto or the Raptors, I'm kind of shocked that nobody's been checking out Kawhi's sister's Instagram feed.

In some ways, she seems to be a bit like his official public voice. Tons of Raptor references on there, even going way back to just after the trade itself. I believe this is Kawhi's sister, if somebody can confirm....

Are people panicking? Why drive yourself crazy...

The only reasons to panic are if he doesn't show up to camp, if he gets injured again, or if we lose a bunch of games. Other than that we should probably just relax.

All the tea leaf reading doesn't work for a guy as quiet and private as Kawhi imo.

That article would have been written around April 10th when there was still a chance of Kawhi rejoining the Spurs - there was still a meeting with Pop that happened late in the summer.

A few reports indicated that the Spurs never actually offered the supermax (or weren't intending to because of the injury uncertainty). If true, that's probably what pushed Kawhi & Uncle Dennis beyond the point of no return.
