  • Spurs fans have the right to be pissed:

They live in San Antonio, the riverwalk is a creek of piss, their women are fat and they never get the credit of being called a dynasty.
    Sucks to be them.

Its the Spurs fault for handling the situation like a bunch of 12 year olds. They are completely overrated as a classy organization (although they are still probably top 10).

Yeah it's really interesting how he was able to bandwagon from OKC to the Spurs in around 2013 or so. When OKC went to the finals he was a diehard Thunder fan.

Actually people that lived in Texas and now live in Canada told me SA was one of the best cities in Texas to live in.

As for SA, I don't get the hate in your post towards that city. They aren't overrated as an organization, evidance suggest that they were in fact the best run organization in the last 20 years (until last season that is where they began sliding & continue to do so) . Losing Kawhi for them was unfortunate and both sides may share the blame. However both Raptors and Spurs benefited from the trade so neither fans should hate the other organization. Both organization have a very similar philosophy in terms of the type of players they seek ( which isn't surprising that all players involved in the trade seem to fit like a glove on their new team).

We got a San Antonio new comer on the board giving us some valuable insights -- let's keep it classy

Actually I think the Spurs have been overrated since they pulled off the Kawhi for George Hill draft day deal. After that, they've been signing mid-range FAs like Aldridge and Rudy Gay, who are weak defenders. Or past-prime guys like Pau Gasol. And drafting guys like DeJounte Murray who is a very good defender, but is a PG who can't shoot which is death in the NBA. In other words, RC Buford has been going against the trends of the modern NBA and relying on Pop to make chicken salad out of chicken sh*t with the mis-matched roster pieces he's been given.

Also, we drink too much. And we think breakfast tacos are cuisine. And the AT&T Center is also used for a major rodeo, after which it smells like a cow barn for a month. And Fiesta, don't get me started. And the afternoon sun in July and August will scorch the hair right off your head, while the sweat drips off your nose like a leaky faucet. But still, it has a certain charm. It's better when the Spurs are good. Sigh.

From the replay, it looks like he saw Dieng moving from the corner of his eye, saw Butler cut, and anticipated the bounce pass perfectly.

Yeah he knew exactly what was happening, a bounce pass to a back door cut. That's a pretty basic play so not crazy to identify it on that level, what is crazy is to read and react to it fast enough to be able to dive and actually steal the ball in time.
