Hands down, best catch and shoot player we ever had. Everytime he shoots it, I dont have that cringy feeling. I dont know how Masai pulled that off.
    Anthony Parker/Doug Christie

Long time ago, but I remember those guys fondly. Both brought the D as well.

I like to look back at those Raptors fans who were crying when Derozan was traded and laugh. I would trade Derozan for Green straight up if we needed to win 1 finals series.
Was it the same folks who claimed we shouldn't fire a Coach of the Year?

Donyell Marshall was no slouch either.

Does Donnell still hold the franchise record for most threes in a game? 11?

              • Tracy Murray was def a 3 point specialist. We must be only nba team to ever have 2 Tracy guys

                • Anthony Parker was the man.

I love what Danny Green has been thus far. A voice, expresses the love for Toronto and the organization, an example for the young guys, and has absolutely brought it on both ends hitting big shots and defending the opposing team's best wing player (split between he and Kawhi).

It's honestly amazing knowing we don't have to rely on one guy to guard the opposing team's best player.

To start a game, Danny Green and Kawhi Leonard, off the bench, Delon Wright and OG Anunoby, Siakam is also solid on the perimeter...

sigh, no longer are we in the days of "DeMarre Carroll is the superstar stopper."

I keep thinking of it like, no offense to demar, but we swapped his style with the textbook 3 and D guy we've been dying for in green. But that wasnt even the headline. We also added what I call "the best 3 and D player of all time". I think that's an accurate title

What was once a dying need is now and embarrassment of riches. Oh, and they both won a championship, beating a super team. Smh lol

                    • Just saw a Danny Green commerical for McDonalds chicken McNuggets....Uncle Dennis missed that one for Kawhi lol

I just thought though that we see regular commercials for JV, CJ and Norm (the Go Daddy curse) and Kyle/DeMar did some stuff for Ford. Vince (the Quitter) Carter for Nike back in the day. Now Green for McDonalds and surely some higher profile Kawhi to come.

Weird that I seem to see more of the Raptors shilling products than any Leafs but maybe I'm not watching. Are Tavares or Marner Matthews getting endorsements?

Advertising to the Raps audience is a conscious strategy to tap into Canada's changing demographic at an early stage. That's why you're seeing non-traditional sports advertisers like banks getting involved. Brands are betting that this is a growing trend moreso than the hockey demographic and yes, it's a great opportunity for Raptor players to snag endorsements they otherwise wouldn't be getting in US markets.

Bruce Bowen, Tony Allen and Shane Battier come to mind, too.

I'm talking about Kawhi. He is 3 and D wing on super steroids
