Bibby gave up $6.2M for a chance to play in MIA. That is great for him but it is also great for WSH. Washington now has only $34M committed to salaries next season. The fear of Lewis' contract crippling them is now squashed. Not only did they shed a lot of money for next year with the new CBA looming but they also picked up Jordan Crawford in the deal. Money saved and a prospect in return is a good trade deadline for a team heading to the top of the lottery - again.
