I didn't know JV had done all that in only 21 minutes. Way to go big guy, honourary Canadian for life. Looks like a good trade for both teams.

But by that point he'd already inspired the next generation of basketballers, helped make it a very popular sport in Canada which would have grown the fan base massively.

Even after he left, plenty of fans growing up or introduced to NBA would have stuck with the team because of Carter.
So you think he was a net neutral lol

Carter put this team on the map so I think that makes him a little different compared to most.

I got a high bar for Jersey retirement. Not interested in retiring Vince either or Bosh
Agreed. Remember when people talked about Mo Pete? When you start retiring role players jerseys, you eventually run out of numbers. That being said, I'm more lenient towards players who contribute to a championship.

JV is so good at setting scenes. Bradley had so much daylight on his shots.. JV really got him going. His work in the post is so good as well. Just automatic up close. And his defense on LMA was really great too. Great game for him.

CJ is getting his shot back too. Delon did his thing (wasn't exceptional but was useful).

Memphis fans are probably loving this trade despite the 1 point loss.

Hope JV balls out to end the season. And then signs back with Memphis for a longer term deal.

Great game by JV. Too bad JJJ had to miss the first FT and make the second that he was trying to miss.

What a fun game to watch too. DeMar, Rudy and Poeltl vs JV, Delon, CJ and Bruno, with Stack nearby.

That was the most Raptory non-Raptor game in the history of Raptor-dom.

Here are some highlights if you don't wanna have to walk all the way over to youtube...

Should the Wolves retire Kevin Garnett's number?
Not if I owned the team.
