This is great.. hopefully JV can be resigned for $10M a year
Yeah, as very, VERY wrong as this list is, I very much hope that the league as a whole values JV that little when he hits RFA.

      SUcks for him.

Thinking logically I want him to make as much as he can. Careers can end very quick.

Thinking irrationally as I quite often do I liked your post.

      • That ESPN list sucked, Kyrie going 1st is stupid since he's pretty much guaranteed an injury every year.

Kahwi Leonard would be 1st overall in my book.

I guess. Logically thinking he's already made more than I could hope to in my entire lifetime. Add on a 50M deal and I'm having a hard time worrying about how quick his career might end, financially anyway.

He's not comparing himself to people like you or me though. He will compare himself to other NBA players. It's about how much he thinks he deserves. It's a shitty feeling when you feel like you're underpaid.
Serious injury could always happen. So hopefully he stays healthy.

It's a concern with Kyrie. But I think he's too big a talent to pass, and he was relatively healthier lately, other than these playoffs.

Kawhi and Jimmy Butler do get injured quite a bit too. Klay Thompson is the healthiest one at the top of this class, but I think he's not good enough to pick over Kyrie, even with Kyrie's injury concerns.

That's all well and good. I'm just saying, I don't really care. I'll be rooting for him taking as small a deal as possible so the Raptors can afford more good players, and I'll lose zero sleep over him being a millionaire with slightly less millions of dollars.

                  • Valanciunas vs. Philly's Bigs

Would you guys trade JV for any of Philly's bigman prospects straight up? (Saric, Noel, Embiid, Okafor). Assume Embiid's health is still a question mark like it is right now.

                    Personally I wouldn't.

                    • Okafor, Noel, yes. Embiid no, unless medical staff vouches for him. Saric, no.

                      • I'd consider trading him for Noel.. Don't think Okafor's going to be that good personally and I think Embiid has the potential to be great but 2 years without playing any NBA ball?? That's rough.

                        Saric? No way.

                        • Embiid and Saric no.

                          Embiid only because of health.
                          Saric because he isn't a C

                          Okafor, yes.
                          Noel, yes.

maybe Embiid but it will be a risk

Saric - only if we get there 2016 first rounder with him
