I lied... changing my pick from Cincy to the Chefs. I don't think Mahomes will allow Burrow to do it again... will he?! They're calling it Burrowhead Stadium ffs. can't be the GOAT and lose to Cincy 4 straight times, 3 being at home.
Back tracking against your initial gut feel choice has a long and glorious history of success.
Chiefs it is.There's no such thing as a 2nd round bust.

Chiefs all the way, baby!
Die, Eagles, Die!
Should be a very good matchup. Eagles are very well rounded and managed to put up 31 on the "#1 D" even with Hurts struggling to throw the ball. The running game is their bread & butter and they just wore down that Niners D. Niners offense was putrid yesterday, but what do you expect from a team forced to use its 4th string QB for most of the Conference Championship game?
Mahomes looked great as usual, even with the "injury". The Chiefs will need more from their run game if they expect to hang with Philly.
I'm going with the Chiefs, 23 - 21.

Apollo wrote: View PostWell, I guess I'm rooting for the Eagles in the Super Bowl. The whole storyline about Burrow being the next Brady is going to have to wait a year.
Speaking of Brady.....Patrick Mahomes and the chiefs did get a couple of New England type calls from the officiating crew.
That mulligan on the 3rd down followed up by a couple of iffy holding calls was NewEngland like.... the roughing call OB was fully warranted though.
That Eagles O Line is really really really good.
Goin Eagles.Last edited by Demographic Shift; Mon Jan 30, 2023, 10:29 AM.There's no such thing as a 2nd round bust.

I didn't officially lock in my pick: Eagles.

This is a year old but relevant now again:
And SUPER hilarious. The other day I was thinking to myself, which of Allen and Burrow is more likely to end up like Kelly and Marino. Allen is starting his mega contract now and that will put the Bills at a major disadvantage over past off-seasons but then again Burrow is about to sign a massive deal and I read his floor might be $44M/year.

I got Philly. So does Apollo.
Mack is with Andy Ried and the Chiefs.
Jimmy B ?
Berta ?
I'd liked the Chiefs more if they still had T. Hill.
The Eagles need only double-team Kelsey to win.RR OG
