LOL Dan with 8 guys out injured or otherwise. I might actually have a shot! Especially with Dalano Banton going HAM tonight.

Oh crap.
i am totally clueless on this.
-----------
Each player on our team has a cap value. The cap value is the number of years they are signed to. The maximum cap each team gets is 40.
So for example, looking at your cap sheet:
https://forums.raptorsrepublic.com/f...2-23-cap-sheet
Kagemusha
Total Cap Allocation: 27
Damian Lillard 4
Myles Turner 4
Stephen Curry 3
Nikola Vucevic 2
Malcolm Brogdon 2
Chris Duarte 2 DPE
Kelly Oubre Jr 1
Brook Lopez 1
Talen Horton-Tucker 1
Larry Nance Jr 1
Evan Fournier 1
Russell Westbrook 1
Gary Payton II (1)
Tyus Jones (1)
Grant Williams (1)
Waived Counting Against Cap:
Isaiah Roby 1
... Lillard has a cap of 4 years. Turner 2, Curry 3, etc...
Every off season, we are allowed to re-sign 2 players and 1 DPE player. A DPE player is a player on a rookie contract. So for example, next year, all your years roll back by 1. You can only re-sign 2 of the players that have a cap hit of 1 right now. Everyone else becomes a free agent and is available in our auction draft.
Each team's cap is set to 40, but you can go over that. If you do any player you add is not eligible to be re-signed.
When you make a waiver claim and drop a player, the player you drop still has a cap hit, and that will still count towards your team.
So looking at your transactions in Yahoo:
Added Bruno Fernando - Waived Talen Horton-Tucker
Added John Konchar - Waived Chris Duarte
Added Dennis Smith Jr - Waived Bruno Feranando
Added Jalen McDaniels - Waived John Konchar
Added Kevin Love - Waived Tyus Jones
Added Max Strus - Waived Dennis Smith Jr
Added Cameron Payne - Waived Evan Fournier
This is what your cap sheet should look like right now:
Kagemusha
Total Cap Allocation: 34
Damian Lillard 4
Myles Turner 4
Stephen Curry 3
Nikola Vucevic 2
Malcolm Brogdon 2
Kelly Oubre Jr 1
Brook Lopez 1
Larry Nance Jr 1
Russell Westbrook 1
Gary Payton II 1
Grant Williams 1
Cameron Payne 1
Jalen McDaniels 1
Kevin Love 1
Max Strus 1
Waived Counting Against Cap:
Isaiah Roby 1
Talen Horton-Tucker 1
Chris Duarte 2
Bruno Feranando 1
John Konchar 1
Tyus Jones 1
Dennis Smith Jr 1
Evan Fournier 1
All the players other than Duarte will be off the books next year. Duarte's cap hit will still be there next year, but only at 1 year.
If you are under the cap, you can declare more than 1 year for a player. You have 7 days by the time you sign a player to declare years. If you do not then they automatically get 1 year.
So you can give Payne more than 1 year if you like since he's your latest acquisition. You have until next week to decide on that.
You are still below the cap, but you have 10 players that will hit free agency, with only 2 guys that are eligible to be re-signed.
Again let us know if you have any questions.

I will try to explain this here, but this took me a few days to figure out as well. It's not the simplest league to understand. Let us know if you have any questions.

You would have swept me if your guys were all healthy.

Lol
doesn't matter, it's still a Civic compared to your Camaros.
Two things you wanna maybe check out so you get a sense of what's coming in the off-season:- The offline rookie draft results (see post #436 for the almost complete results https://forums.raptorsrepublic.com/f...ead-s10/page11)
- The live Yahoo free agent auction results (https://basketball.fantasysports.yah...&order_by=desc)

Man, of my 4 rookies, I never imagined Eason would be my favourite so far. Lol Dude is a fantasy stud in the making.
Really like what I've seen from Undrafted Jalen Williams as well. Probably wasn't worth dropping Walker IV for, but ah well. Lol
