If I'm over the cap, can I still trade a player that I signed over my cap who's un-resignable by me in the offseason? I believe I can still trade that player signed over the 40+ year mark but the receiving owner could also not re-sign that player making them essentially a rental. trade still works as long as im taking/giving matching years correct?

5-4 is the optimal win. Just enough effort was exerted to move on to the next lotto team.

The only restriction I am aware off would be the 1 year length of the new contract

Yes you can make that deal, but the player doesn't lose their unresignable designation, so they are a rental for the new team.

The glitch in the Power Rankings matrix is that I'm in first place for the first time for the past two consecutive weeks.

A merciful Creeds must heed and need be more mercurial.
