I’ve always cheered and rooted to be booed. And I’ve always wanted to be the villain playing in the finals. And if by sheer skill I win the title, my crowning achievement will be having each of you bowdown and hail me as the KING for an entire calendar year as you each compete against me every week for an entire season.

(And please, they’ll be no need to ceremoniously thank me if by the grace of your good fortunes I honourably lose to the daunting might of the reigning defending champion this week)

DanH feels his roster is beat-up and badly broken after a botched mid-season trade with Apollo.

He's so upset with himself that he's taken the strange drastic step of paying a retainer to a law firm to trademark and copywrite reserve an asterix * to his name in the event that I win the title.

His denial does not explain the decisiveness of his actions, nor does it provide a rational for his divisive decision.

Seeing him fail to inflate his deflated hot air balloon-size ego is truly the saddest story of the day.
